He looks at his kids, shrugging. "Whatever." He says, turning on his heel and heading back to their fairly large cabin.

Landon followed behind me, his hands in his hoodie pockets as the two kids followed Rei "how have you been Landon" I asked the tall boy as we followed he shrugged and smiled thinly "same old same old" I nodded slowly "it's been what? 2 years since I have seen Colton eh?" Landon nodded quickly and laughed "Colton misses you too we should rest up here and leave to home soon" I froze but kept walking my mind buzzing. I looked at the figure who walked in front of us 'What about these three?' I asked myself in my mind.

Clare seemed to understand, she tensed for a second but quickly relaxed, leaning into her brother. Rei understood but was better at hiding it, he could defend them, he knew how to protect his family.

I sighed and followed Landon followed behind me he seemed a bit off to me but I could be imagining things, he seemed a bit mlre angry then when I knew him last.

He leads them to a large cabin, Clare and Cole rush inside to be met at the door by a massive Great Dane. The dog shifts, turning into a tall, thin boy. Rei quickly walks up to him, doing a handshake before walking inside quickly. Clare and Cole hug the boy, following their father.

I look at the boy in curiosity and put out my hand to shake his, "I am Sammy, this is Landon" I say with a wide smile.

The boy looks back inside, his brows furrowing in confusion. He reluctantly shakes her hand, quickly crossing his arms after letting go. "I'm Rei's brother." He explains, squaring his shoulders as he looks at them.

I cock my head to the side and smile, and I sigh and walk into the cabin following after the kids and Rei Landon following and he looked at Rei's brother uneasily as we passed.

Rei sits on a brown couch, black pillows on either side. Clare and Cole argue over what to have for dinner. "Make yourself at home, we have four restrooms, two on this floor two on the top. Top floor has four rooms, Clare, Cole, my brother and I are upstairs. We have five downstairs, all guest rooms, so go ahead and pick your room."

I nod and make myself at home into the dark purple guest room happy to have a proper bed while it lasted sighing sadly because we were leaving soon.
