"What! Me laughing isn't weird... okay fine I rarely laugh but that doesn't matter." She huffed, still walking. "Is your leg alright?" She added, in case Ace was listening.

"Yeah. It's doing better."

Ace stopped at the extra tents. "Well, here we are. And here's your food and water." He offered it to them

"Thank you." She replied, taking the stuff from his hands. "We appreciate you letting us stay... or at least, for helping us so far."

Gale returned, holding two folded sets of clothes. "They're simple cloth but they're warm. Everyone in the camp wears the same thing." She gestured down to her black clothes- it was a simple tunic and pants.

Alex took the clothes and food and water and went into his tent

"I'll let him change first." She said, sitting on the ground and sighing. She looked up at Ace. "Do you think they'll let my brother and I in?"

Alex started to change

Ace shrugged, looking down at her. "Not sure."

Thanks for that vote of confidence, she thought with an eye roll. Bell pulled her katana out of its sheath eyeing it to make sure it wasn't dirty. "My brother and I can fight. We would really help out here, I promise."

"I'm not the one you gotta talk to." He said.

Alex got done changing and came out

"Fair enough." She went into a tent, winking at Ace and then Gale as she did.

"She's... interesting." Gale noted with a laugh as Alex appeared.

"Yeah." Ace said

Alex wondered how long it would take 'Bell' to change. Usually girls stook forever
