Do not feel embarrassed, for we all get lost at some time in our lives... and not just when traveling.
Eldrvarya shows you a layout of the camp and where the empty tent was, and he sends you off after you thank him.
You settle down in the tent, which has minimal appliances save for a sleeping bag, table, and a lantern. You decide to go to sleep. (Sometimes in the game, actions take longer so I wait a little bit until pinging you again.)

You head west. The path continues on for a bit until it leads you to a beach. You small he salty waves in the breeze. To your left is rocky beach, You go along (footprints on) the beach until after a while, you finally reach something in the distance. There is a pier, with a sign that says: Welcome to Peir 47!
Congratulations! You have discovered Pier 47!
As you walk along the wooden boards, there are a handful of vendors seeming to sell various items. Do you want to stop and check out the vendors?

You turn to the north. After going a bit on the road, you see three shops on the side of the road. Stop and check them out, or continue north?

You look around through the different vendors, deciding which one would be he best. You decide on a vaendor that seems to have a fair amount of variety and doesnt look scetchy. This Sylesti is behind the booth:
