Zuni laughed, still positioning his hands nearby to steady her arm if needed

She squared her shoulders, pulling them back, as she raised the bow and prepared to fire.

Zuni smiled and watched her, looking at where the arrow would be shot.

Choula stretched the string, aimed, and fired. Her arms wobbled under the tension and the arrow hit the tree below and to the left of where she had been aiming.

Zuni smiled and picked her up, spinning her around before placing Choula down, "It's strange your training bow would be so tight. i'll take it look at it later." he smiled

"Okay, but don't make it too easy. Daddy said that it makes you stronger when it's hard. Aren't you going to shoot?"

He smiled, "we don't want you to strain a muscle." he felt his ankle throbbing but didn't wince, "I've done enough shooting for today, little Choula"

"Okay! Imma shoot one more." Choula proceeded to repeat the routine, getting a similar result.

He nodded, "With practice you'll be the next best shooter! Come on, lets go to the fire."

Zuni and Choula picked up their archery equipment and put it away in their house. Then they went to find their dad by the fire.
