"Forget it, I'll do it myself."


I returned a few minutes later with two clear pills, a green, and a white. I was sweaty and my heart was pounding.
"Absolutely no new pills whatsoever, is what the dude said. So I found an old lab coat and imitated one of the other scientists to steal two Anti pills, a Green and a White... Turns out, they only made one of each, because they didn't write down a specific formula, and now they're working on making them again. Green and white were all they had..."
I gasped for breath, then ate the clear, followed by the bitter green pill, giving the other clear and the white to Anahita.

"Oh, that's unfortunate" Serenity said, perfectly happy. "Get me to the lab right now, I need to talk to them, like, now" Serenity said, scratching at her arms

"Okay people, we have rooms set up to monitor the effects, so then you can go home."


I nodded and followed her down the hall to a row of ten doors, each with a different colored circle. I looked in the brown window, just to see, and saw ivy hanging from the walls and plants growing in pots. The purple one had heavy objects, red had a treadmill, and so on. I entered green, and the door closed, while I waited.

Serenity walked into the yellow room, looking around. Normally she would be terrified, but she felt nothing

"We will be showing you recordings of people, and please tell us if the person is lying or telling the truth." The speaker crackled and went quiet.






I heard whirring noises, and suddenly there was blood. I screamed. Diagonally down my chest, there was a huge wound. It hurt, but in a few seconds, it closed, and then it was gone, I no longer had blood on my clothing or even a scar on my chest, but the memory was there, and so was the blood on the floor. "3.2 seconds...'' The speaker crackled. I still screamed. "Oh do be quiet. All of these rooms are designed to be soundproof, and they're made out of ten inches thick titanium alloy." I whimpered quietly, trying to call out with my mind, crying out in my head to an answer I didn't think would come.

"Alright, seems easy enough" Serenity said cheerfully. While the video played and Serenity watched, she set up a mental connection between her and Lily Hey, how's you test going, mine's kinda boring she said in her normal cheery tone. She easily guessed all of the tests correctly, barely needing to watch more than a few minutes.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mentally screamed at her when I finally found the mental link.

A man entered the yellow room with a bored look. "Persuade him to do whatever you want. Letting you out is not an option, we still want to monitor the rest of the effects, and there is no way to open from the inside." The screen went dark.

I enter the purple room.
"I bet you want me to lift these" I say.
'Correct' a voice replies. 'You may begin.'
I walk over to a large block of something and try to lift it but it is too heavy. I smirk and focus on it with my mind and lift it without touching it. I let it drop, sweating with effort. I lift the other objects and soon I can lift them a few at a time. Then I study the rack of weapons, I had never used anything but a knife before and yet somehow I understood them all and proved I could use them with ease. I quietly throw small daggers with perfect accuracy at the walls and objects, a bit bored now.

The lights are out but I don't notice as I can still see perfectly fine.
