I narrowed my eyes. Kayran was chuckling evilly and Morgan had a glint in his eyes. "It's probably just to annoy me, then. But yeah, they do look like they're up to something....I really hope not, though. We're here for a reason, and that reason isn't annoying people you've only just met or sabotaging your owner." I sighed, wringing my hair over the side of Aura to make sure it was fully dry from before. For no reason in particular, I pulled out my necklace and traced the dragon with my finger. After a minute, I returned to talking with Aura. "You know, my sister and I are twins, so we got our dragons at exactly the same time." I smiled, remembering the cave walk. "When her dragon hatched for her, he immediately warmed up to her, a small, snowy white dragonling." I frowned sadly. "When Kayran hatched for me, he hissed and ran off. I was so disappointed. Wren got a dragon that was as good as gold, and me?" I sighed. "I got him. I waited a while to name him, but after is constant rebellious nature and misbehaving, I named him 'the tyrant', or Kayran. He hated it but I think some part of him almost agreed."
I chuckled. "But that's enough of my life story. I can't change him, no one can. I'll just have to...oh, I don't know...try and let him have his way every now and again. He's not that bad, I suppose..."

Aura nodded sadly to her tale and spoke, "I wish I could understand where you're coming from but when I remember my hatching, I only smile. I remember it well, I opened my eyes slowly, to blackness, so I flailed around aimlessly, attempting to escape from the dark prison and I saw...
~Flashback~
The darkness surrounded me, a blanket in which I could not escape, it took many jabs before my feeble leg struck through the darkness and a faint light leaked in through the hole. Peering through the gap, I noticed a figure, walking towards me, I pushed my nose through the hole and wriggled it, breaking the weak material and rolled out of the cage that held me. Above me, a person stood, bending down to wrap his hands around me, I squeaked happily and rubbed my head against there hands. This was Morgan and he was to be my rider.
~Present day~
Smiling at the memory, I looked over my shoulder at Althea and say, "I believe that one day you and Kayran will be happy together, for he is your dragon and you are his rider, you are connected, almost as one, don't give up on his ALthea."

I was dumbfounded. "That's so beautiful...I'm so happy that you and Morgan are so close. I hope Kayran and I will be too, some day. But for now I can only hope. Maybe one day he'll want to, too. And when that day comes, I'll be ready." Smiling, I searched for the fore-mentioned dragon, but he was no where to be seen. I frowned in confusion. "Hey, where'd they go?" I asked Aura. 'Oh god, they are up to something, aren't they?' I thought.

~Morgan~
Morgan and Kayran flew underneath the two silently, out of sight from their gaze. Carefully, he rose to his feet and lifted up his arm, reaching for Aura's underbelly and whispered very quietly, "As soon as I do this, fly to the side so we don't get hit okay?" And jabbed his hand into Aura's sensitive spot on the side of her stomach, this would render her movement non existent and cause the two to fall into the water.

As I was looking for them, Aura let out a squeal and suddenly, we began plummeting back to earth, passing a familiar pair as we did. "Aura!? Oh god, Aura are you okay!?" I screamed as the lake came into view. Her body was limp and lifeless, and I couldn't stop shaking her; I was afraid that something horrible had happened to her.
When we crashed into the lake, I began freaking out. Like earlier, I couldn't move, and watched helplessly as Aura and I began sinking. 'This is it.' I thought, invisible tears escaping their ducts. 'This is how I die.' My eyes closed and I held my breath, waiting to die.
'No! I can't give up yet!" A voice in my head yelled, and my arms felt as if a weight had been lifted. By now, Aura had already surfaced and I swam towards her, her shiny white-yellow scales almost a beacon of hope. When my head broke through the surface, I took a long needed breath, and desperately clung on to Aura's neck, trying to stay afloat. Looking up to see Kayran and Morgan, I yelled, "JERKS!", tears spilling down my face. I then turned to Aura. "H-hey...a-are you okay?"

~Aura~
I reached the surface and shook the water from my feathered wings, "MORGAN!" I roared in fury, eyes blazing like a raging fire. "You get down here right now!" My screams echoed across the open skies. Then I turned to Althea and beckoned her onto my back, "Get on! They will pay!"
~Morgan~
Morgan and Kayran swooped down, hovering above the pair. "Need a hand there Princess!" He called, offering a hand.

(Althea)
Grumpily, I slapped his hand away. "You slimy creature! That was not funny! I just finished drying off from the LAST time that Kayran dropped me in the ocean!" I screamed, crossing my arms and flicking my wet hair in his direction. "Kayran, you demon! And to think that I thought- Never mind! You're such a scum bucket!"
(Kayran)
Watching her reaction, I felt a little bad. Her usually soft pink eyes were cold and glared at me, almost as if they were trying to vaporise me. Invisible strings were pulling her eyebrows an the corners of her mouth into a frown, and tears were still welling in her eyes. And now her dress was fully soaked, it clung to her body and I could see that her boots were full of lake water. But did I really feel that bad?
I grinned evilly. "Well, you deserved it." My voice almost said by itself. Her face was overcome by shock, then she looked down, the tears now escaping. "Just leave me alone." She whispered, just loud enough to hear.

~Aura~
I lifted Althea onto my back and flew away from the scene. "Are you okay?" I asked quietly, "you shouldn't be so mad at them, It was just a joke and they would have saved you." A dragonish frown held on her face, she didn't know how to feel. Whether she should feel bad for Althea or Kayran? Ignoring those feelings she decided to try and make Althea feel better, by shooting a long but small flame close to her clothes, drying them off.
~Morgan~
He looked up in shock, seeing them fly away. "Did we do something wrong? I thought you did this all the time..." He asks, slowly.

(Kayran)
Kayran shrugged as well as a dragon could. "She usually doesn't get this mad. Well, I guess this quest is important to her, or she was thinking about something and we interrupted her." I shot Morgan a reassuring smile. "She's just in a little mood, that's all. I'm sure she'll be fine later. It's weird, she always takes forever to surface up... Nah, it's probably nothing. We were only playing, she'll forgive you, I promise."
(Althea)
I smiled warmly at Aura's attempt to make me feel better. "Yeah, I know..." I mumbled, making sure my dragon necklace was still tucked away safely. "I'm just...I don't know. Tired of it? Sick of my expectations never being met? Honestly, I don't even know why I came here. I can't swim, you know. I just never told Kayran, which was a bit stupid. Heck, if I told him he would probably drop me more often and make me learn to swim by myself!" I chuckled a little. "But thank you, for drying my clothes. I really appreciate your kindness."

~Morgan~
Morgan stared in front of him, at Althea and Aura, debating whether or not to go and apologise. This debate went long inside his head distracting him from anything in his surroundings.
~Aura~
She smiled kindly at the girl and replied "No problem Althea, it's the least I can do to make up for my rider." Aura picked up the pace a little, allowing the wind to rush through her feathers and sting her eyes as they remained open.
~Wren~
She pulled on Gabriel forcing him to slow down, "Yo, sis! You okay? Those guys really did a number on you! It was awesome!" She called out. Gabriel sighed in annoyance, "Don't be nasty Wren! She's your sister and you know she can't swim." Wren snorted and muttered, "Fine!"
