lays down in my den and closes my eyes and trying not to remember how firestar killed our father in front of us when we were kits, i was determined to have revenge.

He gave a small determined purr before backing up and studying DarkHeart. He was looking for weaknesses and strengths.

*BloodKit*

I catch Ebbkit's eye and indicate with a swish of my tail for him to take the left side while I take the right.

EbbKit gives a small hiss directed towards Darkheart, but also meaning he understands. I tense up fakings a lunge at him and rushing to his left side and jumping at him.

*DarkHeart*

I swerve and focus on Ebbkit's attacks, dodging and delivering counter-blows, which for the most part hit. By the time I send him sprawling back though, Bloodkit is on my back, I roll to get him off but he leaps out of the way and claws my belly, escaping before I can swat him away. I quickly stand, prepared now for the next attacks.

I swish my tail, signaling to BloodKit that we should attack at the same time. I took a step forwards before barreling to DarkHeart and sending him a powerful blow on the side, hard enough to wind him and knock him over.

*DarkHeart*

Recovering quickly, I leap to my feet only to find that Bloodkit has latched onto my face. Staggering backwards I run into a trash can and fall over.
"Alright you two, that's enough" I say, chuckling.

EbbKit nodded and backed up, panting slightly.

*DarkHeart*

You two are battle ready" I grin, then I proceed to walk away, taking the vole with me. I go behind some trash cans in the small but comfortable place that is my den. A moment later my son joins me and I give him the vole to eat. Prey is a bit scarce so I must make extra certain my kit doesn't starve. I tell myself I will eat later.

i wake up from a bad dream breathing really heavy but i get up and walk out my den. i see that the vole was gone and was happy that darkheart took my advice an took the vole. i think about ebbkit and grab a mouse and pad off to ebbkit to give him something to eat.
