I get you there, there have been many times I've joined a game and have had to feel my way around because people on there aren't the most forthcoming -not saying people on Sylestia are, far from it in fact- with help towards newbies -those are the games I tend to abandon really quickly, the communities aren't as close knit as I like them to be.

I'm the same, I'd much rather give someone -preferably a newbie, but not always- the items I no longer need or have no use for than selling them.

Oh, yeah, jumping back to our brief conversation about the games you play, you said you play Pokemon on the computer, what one's are those?

P.s. Sorry about the back and forth, I can sometimes overlook things only to remember them later on.

Oh, wow, I've actually heard of those before, just never thought to get one myself -do you have to download it off of a site or something?

um yeah, my husband downloaded it for me so i don't know which site he used but i'll ask him. there's like a special way you have to download the emulator and then same for the games.

Oh, no, that's okay, I don't think I would download it anyway, I'm overly suspicious of downloading from sites I don't know well, as well as being rather stingy with the space I have on my computer despite it being able to take most things I can throw at it.

There are some no download Pokemon RPGs out there, I've actually played a few, and they do emulate Pokemon fairly decently, though you do tend to lose out on the effect of the much older versions of Pokemon as the graphics are much more up to date -and though the battle simulators tend to do a good job, you lose the immersed feeling you get, the battle simulators are always in little boxes. Much like the battling system here on Sylestia.

The battling system here actually screamed Pokemon to me when I first joined.

haha yea i like the battle system here, plus ontop of getting to catch the "pokemon" you get to find gold and mushrooms :P

course i like the different genes you can get on the same species here unlike getting to create your own pokemon type of thing

Yeah, the gold certainly is a nice addition, I haven't used the Mushrooms much recently, though they did come in handy for when I first joined.

Same here, there's not many -I only know of one- pet adoption games that have the system they do here with the Generator, though I do wish there were more Traits and Mutations for certain species, such as the Nephini species, who compared to others are lacking in Trait and Mutation options, though I'm sure they'll get to those eventually.

What do you mean by being able to create your own Pokemon?

i meant this game allows you to generate/design/create your own sylestie to what colors and genes/mutations that you want. with pokemon, you can't do that. your stuck with what they give you, granted they have bunches of different pokemon, but none that you can make personal to you.
