Luciana fluttered along above the group. They all looked like ghosts, with their bright blue eyes. She wondered if they knew she was a ghost as well... her transparency was hardly noticeable unless you looked closely.

Alala, having left the lab behind, had burst outside for a much-needed pleasure flight. She soared about before aiming for her room's open window. She landed with a few wingflaps that scattered papers about the room. "Just what I need," she said exasperatedly, not having noticed the little intruder yet.

(Looking forward to this part :D)

(Uhm... How is Vilas supposed to get a sample if she can't pass into the circle without being trapped? o.o)

"Uh... Right... Yeah, sample. Um. What does the year mean to you?" Vilas asked, putting what seemed to be a tube for samples in a stand and sliding it most of the way into the circle, leaving enough out so she could grab it. "This must be weird to ask, but could you try to get some into this tube? I really can't think of another way to get a sample without getting trapped myself... Sorry..."

(I guess that's one way to do it, Vilas. ._.)

Fluffers looked up at the lunemara. She hadn't spoken in awhile. Fluffers wondered if she was ok.
"U-um." Fluffers started nervously, "W-what's your name?" she said to no one in particular, "A-actually, I would like to know all of your names... if that's ok."

(Oops. Failed to think of that XD)

Merikh nodded and stood up, sighing. "I died...one hundred sixty seven years ago." He said tentatively, as if he didn't quite believe it himself. "Who won the war, by the way?" He asked somewhat bitterly before pressing his left cheek to the test tube. Tears slid down his exposed skull into the glass. They appeared to have a faint glow to them.

(Feel free to make up some interesting details on the war... It won't really affect much.)

"Huh? Oh, sorry, I just got a little spaced out. I'm Luciana! Nice to meet you!" She blinked in a lunemara smile. Her glow brightened a little, the thought of new friends pulling her out of her unwanted thoughts.

Rina cracked the door open a tiny bit, to let in some light. She was going to try and see if she could get to the top of the tower, when suddenly something flew into the room. The light coming through the door was just enough to illuminate the shape of the figure. It stood tall with large wings, looming over her. At first Rina didn't dare to breath, frozen in fear. Then she realized the figure would notice her soon or later, and scuttled underneath a desk. She tried not to make any noise as the figure walked into the center of the room, but couldn't help a small 'eep' of fear.

"And this is my home." Finian said stopping at a rather intact building behind the gate wall. "It's not much I know but it's home, your all welcomed to stay here if you need to." He offered pushing the door open. "If you can wait out here for a moment I have talk to Aife for a moment." With that he entered the home shutting the door behind him. He sighed upon entering and looked around for Aife. She was in the kitchen preparing a meal for them. "Lord I never knew there was so many ghost out there looking for help." He sighed sitting in the doorway.
"It will get better trust me." She smiled licking his cheek. He smiled back at her and wagged his tail.

Hewie looked at the others. "W-who are you?" He asked in a rather wispy voice. It sounded like the wind more than a voice and scared him. He jumped some at the sound of it. "S-sorry."

Luciana turned toward the Faelora and blinked at him. "It's okay, you didn't do anything wrong." She said, trying to comfort him. She could tell he wasn't yet used to being a ghost. "I'm Luciana. What's your name?"

Alala instantly formed an ice spear when she heard a quiet noise. She was already on edge from the events of the day. Her green eyes searched the room before looking under the desk, and spotting a little blue whispy tail. She crouched to look under, and her spear instantly went away when she saw the small Ryori child. "What are you doing under there?" She asked softly, trying not to seem scary to the frightened hatchling.

(I tried. Not sure how good it is, but it's a thing.)

Vilas took the tube back and put a lid on it before setting on the small shelf she got it from. "Well... I didn't actually go to school or anything, so I don't know much about it. But I do know that a lot of sylesties on both sides were killed, most of them being innocent civilians. It was a terrible time to live in. I don't think anyone ever told me who won. My mother only told me that it was one of the bloodiest wars in recorded history." Vilas didn't like thinking about that many innocents dying, but then suddenly remembered something, "Oh, that's right! Nobody really won, because on a holiday both sides declared a... Um... I forget the name but it's when they like stop fighting for a day. Anyway, when they did that, some of the soldiers on both sides started playing a game of some sort, like a sport. Those soldiers didn't see each other as the enemy during that time, but just other sylesties who have families and people waiting for them at home. These soldiers started something, like a... hm... petition, I guess? It was to stop the war, and both sides took the signatures of anyone and everyone who would sign, and brought to their generals. Of course, the generals wouldn't have it, and they were ordered to keep fighting. Most of the soldiers refused to fight each other, and instead threw down their weapons. And without soldiers, what is a war, really? Then it was over. Of course, it's not a happy ending. Wars don't usually have happy endings at all. The rulers of each side were furious with the soldiers. They gathered up everyone they could find who signed the petition and executed them. I'm pretty sure there was a lot of civilian rioting against the leaders after that, and they were both eventually overthrown." When Vilas finished, she realized how much she had said, and was embarrassed. A bit flustered, she said, "I'm so sorry I talked so long... I hope that answers your question?"

"H-Hewie." He said looking at her. She seemed nice enough, maybe she was looking to help him. "I-I'm not good at talking to people." He admitted looking down for a moment before looking back up at them. "Your all ghosts as well aren't you?"
