I smile, and nod my head in thanks. This wolf-man was not so bad after all. I think I will stay with him, maybe he will be my new family. Like a brother.

I smile, expression gentle. And for the first time in a while I am calm. My ears perk up and twitch,
"I would love to. I can cook a nice rab- Uhm! Burger." I said, fidgeting with my hands. Usually when making rabbit burgers I would catch one of the while savage ones along the beach side below the cliff, but I do not want to cause Rafe any distress. (I have seen this guy's name spelled Rage, Race, Rafe, and Rare, I do not know which is right.)

His ears drop nearly to the ground. "R-rabbit?" Rafe stammered backing up a bit. "You eat rabbit? Why? We're so cute and cuddly why would you want to eat us? We can't taste that good!"
