Flow: I listen while Ace is talking to Loki and I smile when Loki yawns. I turn around with a few bandages in my mouth. I walk over and heard Loki say he was 14. I drop the bandages next to him and say softly, "This might sting a little." I start tying the bandages around his wounds hoping Flame is doing okay.

Ace: Wow. He's pretty young. I thought to myself. "So, Loki, you're pretty tough. I mean you're still alive which is good." I scratch behind my ear feeling awkward. Flow had walked up right before I said it and she glared at me and shook her head. She spoke "Ace why don't you go find something for Loki to eat when he wakes up?" I got the hint, I knew I was awkward around others and was probably in the way. So I went off to go look for some chow.

Flame: I looked up at him relieved he said that. "That's good." I lie down really tired, then realized that that sounded mean, "I mean, if you didn't feel anything that would be bad...." I yawned my eyes closing a little "I actually felt like being sick when I started chasing you, so I won't judge...." I yawn again my eyes closed "Please don't run away." Hopeful Dark won't run away, I fall asleep.

Dark; i gag. man i felt bad. i yawn as well suddenly tired. i lay down and fall asleep.


Loki: "i guess i am tough, it is just the way i am. between my mom and the humans i have learned to be tough." i would have slapped myself but i am a dog and cant. why had i said that about the humans? now i would have even more to explain.

Flow: Flow smiled at Loki. "Yes you are very tough. I'm finished. You should try and get some rest now." She looked up suddenly feeling unprotected, it was getting dark out and she was by herself.... No it was worse then that, she was with a very badly hurt puffadore. I hope Flame or Ace get back soon, I don't think I'm up for a fight. She lies down next to Loki hoping he doesn't think it too odd.

Ace: I walked around for a while when something caught my eye. A bush with tons of red berries. It's a good thing Flow sent me with this cloth I couldn't carry these without it. He quickly knocked off a lot of the berries onto the cloth. He started walking back to where Flow was, but then something else caught his eyes, a movement in the shadows. He puts the berries on a branch away from the ground and gets ready to pounce. A rabbit shot out of the bush, he jumps at it and gets it with one try. He picks up the rabbit and grabs the berries from the branch and noticed it was getting dark out.... He had no idea what kinds of things lurked in the woods. He practically ran back to where Flow and Loki where, knowing neither one of them was in any shape to fight off an attacker. He got to the river (He's on the other side.) And looks across to see Flow lying down next to Loki.

Flame:I slept well and opened my eyes the first thing I notice is the fact it was getting quite dark out now. I must have dozed for hours! She thinks to herself. The second thing she noticed, after yawning, was that Dark had fallen to sleep, too. She haggles with herself in her mind about waking him up to go back to where Flow, Ace and hopefully Loki were. She decides it would be best to wake him and get back. She nudges him on the back with her snout. "Wake up, Dark. We've got to get back."

Dark: i was having that dream again, the one of my long lost family. as i bound down the hill to meet them i wake up. i stretch and yawn. "Yes?"

Loki: i did not want to sleep. i stand and go to the river to get a drink. mmmm.... those fish looked tasty. i climb onto a log that over hangs the river. i crouch waiting for the right moment. i had done this many ties before. i launch myself off of the log. i dip under the water, but i come out victorious. i swim back to the shore. i dont think i could pull off a stunt like that again so i just hope that these dogs dont like fish.....

Flame: I watch as he stretches. "Come on. We should get back. Flow's probably scared out of her mind and Ace is probably mounting a rescue mission." I purposefully left out Loki even though I was sure he was fine. Flow's there he'll be ready to jump in a lake and swim across when we get back.

Flow: I laid there my head on my paws hoping nothing will happen until Ace gets back. I feel Loki get up next to me and heard as he got a drink. I stayed where I was thinking he would come back and lie down, but instead I heard some weird sounds and a splash I quickly jump up and run towards the water thinking he had passed out and fell in. I stopped short in my tracks when I saw him swimming back with a fish. I shook my head and smiled, "You didn't have to do that. Ace should be coming back with food at any moment." And sure enough I look up a bit more and I see Ace holding a rabbit and something in the cloth I gave him. I turn back to Loki, "You really shouldn't have done that. You might have reopened your wound and it would bleed a lot."

Ace: I watch as Loki gets up for a drink and ends up fishing instead. I shook my head when Flow started chiding him like a mother. If he still doesn't know what it feels like to be loved tomorrow I'll explain it to him myself. I find a place in the river that's slightly narrower but deeper. I swim across and drop the food I got, "Were you just trying to get rid of me?" I ask looking over at them, trying to look hurt but ended up smiling instead.

Loki: "i saw an opportunity and it was taken." i smile around the fish in my mouth. I still did not trust them but they had a way of warming up to you. i just hope the one they call Dark does not come back. What if he did? "he will kill me." i say into the fish, not meaning for it to be out loud.

Flow: I walk over to him and make sure he hadn't just re-opened the rather large wound on him side. "Still that wasn't a good plan. If you had reopened it it would have been hard for me to stanch the bleeding again." I heard him mumble something but couldn't tell was it was. I steeped back from him, pleased that his wound wasn't reopened.

Ace: I watch as Flow acts like a mother again. I couldn't believe how quickly she had seemed to forgive Loki. She looked really tired and hungry. "Here, Flow come eat something, then you can go to sleep, I'll keep Loki out of mischief." She walked over to where I had left the food I brought. I heard Loki mumble something about someone killing him. I went up to him and quietly said, "He wasn't really going to kill you, I mean he was but he didn't really want to. It was a defensive thing, you did almost get Flow." I looked back to make sure Flow wasn't listening. "Flame actually attacked Dark when we all met, so I'm getting use to random people going berserk." I hope Loki wouldn't run away. I'm so not good at talking.

Loki: "and your telling me this for what reason?" i drop the fish. "would you like one? i think i might be able to get you one." the bushes behind me move. i crouch and stalk to it. i pounce.

a screech can be heard, it is not known if it is Loki's or something else's.

I started to chuckle,"you really are something, but dont say I didn't warn you." In a few minutes I already ate more than half of the berry hoard. " huh almost the top? In my old pack I was actually a pretty good fighter, they were gouing to up my rank in the fighters in a few months, but they kept postponing because i wouldn't kill other luporas or puffs, so I guess I wasn't meant to be a fighter..." I said casually since it was the norm at the city.
