Thanks both of you! It actually took me years to accept my look and my color, but now I try to help others accept their natural beauty. Its a process, but someday it'll save the world...

As for the secretary bird, is it any wonder that its the national emblem of Sudan and on the Coat of Arms in South Africa? That bird gets a lot of respect, even today :D

*nods* Yup, it definitely can be a process, especially for those who aren't as well represented in mainstream western media (i.e. people of colour, people with disabilities, trans*/non-binary people, larger people, etc.). It's great that you use your experiences to try and help others. It's a worthy pursuit to fight for better representation and appreciation of all forms of beauty, not just the Hollywood standard.

And that's really interesting re: the secretary bird. I never knew that!

avatar me. yes, I'm a girl in real life. I just really like boy things and despise all girl things. I'm short and friends call me chibi or Ben Drowned (a creepypasta) due to my gamer style and my usual perverted nature. I am a LOZ fan though I don't have any games. Wolves are my passion and I can be lazy, bull headed, a jerk, and come off as a cold person. but get to know me and oh boy. I am crazy, hyper, protective to the overload, and down right reckless. My eyes change from time to time in color, usually their blue, but can be gray, icy, blue with green tint, or any shade of blue. My style has always been on the boyish side and I have a bad habit of being a thief as well as misspelling things due to ADHD, i learn slow and can get distracted way to easily. I will take a bullet for my friends and if i could, murder my enemies. little background on myself, my mom died when I was little and I usually block out my emotions.
oh and i guess i forgot to mention, my real name is actually Tia Diana Horton. I get a lot of Horton hears a who jokes. -_-'

Hai! I'm Nairad, most people I chat with just call me Nai for short though. I'm a 22 year old 120ish pound female, around 5'3" 1/2ish normaly around 5'4" when I wear my normal boots (Go to amazon and search Breckelles Alabama boots, they are amazing! I've bought so many pairs over the past few years. I kill shoes wayyy fast haha) I guess you could call my style punk rock with a heavy dose of geek. My favorite shirt is one I picked up from Universal studios with Arcee on the front with "I only date autobots" next to her. Its pretty great.

I'm a photographer so I don't have many photos of my self XD I hide on the other side of the lens most of the time.

This one is my favorite pick of me. Its from back in '13 but the only difference now is that my hair is just past my shoulders and is straight (I love it curly but it takes my straightener on the highest setting and a bottle and a half of hair spray to hold a curl.... its depressing haha)
