Sastrugi watches, something openly curious shining in the black of her eyes. "That would make sense, if you were the one who taught it," she agrees. "Most dragons wouldn't be going for... a slam at that point, but I suppose you don't have teeth."
Her lips curl in a slight smile, make the remark teasing. "I'm quite surprised that you could lift a deer though. You're stronger than you look."
In the arena, the IceWing lays across the ground, eyes closed to shake off the disorientation from the suplex. Her efforts to stand are shaky, leaving the round as her loss from the time she's spent grounded. "Ah, you got me," she finally says, a quiet sigh, as she wobbles towards the exit.
"Since you beat me, I'll wish you luck. Keep going and win a few more rounds!"

The IceWing nods and steps off. For a few minutes, the rest period begins, leaving the announcer the hype up the oncoming matches.
Sastrugi chuckles, a soft, refined thing that matches the sharpness of her perfect posture. "You'll have to show me your fighting some time," she says. At this point, another IceWing steps onto the ice.
"Welcome, Princess Avalanche!" the announcer calls. The next contender arrives with her head held high, shimmering pigment painted around her eyes and pink scales glittering in the globe-light.
The battle is begun with a piercing whistle by the referee. Avalanche slinks around the edges, movements slow as the announcer lists her accomplishments. "She hunted her first polar bear when she was three, she's a frequent top placer in the Great Snow Dragon's Celebrations, she's the Unit Commander of the Dragonet's Regiment!"
Though the Princess's lips curl in a grin, she remains focused, making a shallow feint forward to test Tiamat's reaction speed; a standard opener.

Hakaishin grinned and watched the fight. *is this Princess your sister?* he asked Sastrugi.
Tiamat raises an eyebrow at the feint before suddenly slamming his front limbs on the ground and ROARING, shaking the whole arena and startling or scaring some dragons. Then he lunged at the princess, seeming to be attempting a full body tackle.

"She is my cousin," Sastrugi clarifies. "Through my mother's side, which gives her right to the title of Princess, especially given her achievements."
Within the arena, Avalanche startles at the bellow before recovering and launching herself back with a beat of her wings to escape Tiamat's reach, tail flicking out to target the side of his head head with her spikes folded.

Tiamat ducked the tail before grabbing it with his front hands. He quickly began spinning, swinging her around, before letting go and tossing her into a large pile of snow.
(If you need an example of what he did, think of Mario 64 when Mario *so long gay Bowsers* the Koopa King.)

(Poor Avalanche haha, she's getting absolutely destroyed. I don't think any of the dragons here have even seen someone swing their opponent around by the tail before.)
Seeing the scene, the announcer is shocked speechless, leaving Sastrugi to raise an eyeridge in the ensuring silence. That's quite a way to go.
And the referee has signaled that this is Avalanche's loss. She stands up from the snow, trying to hide her dizziness and her flushed face, dim blue staining her scales.
"Did you teach him that too?" She inquires, turning toward Hakaishin.

Hakaishin grinned. *lets assume that anything Tiamat does that isnt how a normal dragon fights, I taught him. Lets also assume that the deer population, and the population of other large animals like bears or lions, really dont like me.*
Tiamat grinned, walked over, brushing the snow off of her. *sorry about that. The dizziness should wear off in a few minutes. I suggest laying down, otherwise you may pass out from the blood leaving your head so rapidly.*

"You," Satrugi says, admiration in her gaze, "are something else. I have to see you fight some day."
She pauses, head tipped in quiet thought, before she asks, "Have you used any of those on Tiamat?"
Meanwhile, Princess Avalanche presses her claws to her head with a quiet grimace. "Thank you for the advice," she says, giving Tiamat a nod of respect. "I'm sure the Great Ice Dragon would be impressed by your performance tonight."
Her voice drops into something of a mutter, though she under judges her voice and leaves it just loud enough for Tiamat to hear. "I've practiced for extreme aerial maneuvers, and that somehow felt worse than all of them combined."
