Sonic extended a hand and grinned. "Shall we?" He said in an exageratedly polite tone.

Knuckles shrugged. "Just deal with it,"

Ajal snorted indignitly.

Tails grabbed Sonic's hand.

Knuckles tilted his head slightly and carried on.

Sonic's grin broadened, and he zipped off. "How fast today?" He asked his passenger.

"Sonic speed," Tails answered sounding like a little kid.
Ajal kept walking.

Watch and see Kaladin I wasn't kidding. Selkie spoke.

Sonic let out a short laugh. "Daredevil. Alright, hang on to your tails!" He exclaimed, building up speed. Knuckles sighed and shook his head. Somethings never changed.

Kal looked on in curiosity.

Selkie watched hoping Sonic would break the speed of sound.

Tails hung on tightly.

Ajal watched Sonic run for about six seconds.

Knuckles stared after the hedgehog for about a minute, then glanced at Ajal. "Might wanna cover your ears..." He advised, doing so himself.

Sonic's ears angled back as the air rustled through his quills. He smirked as the world around him became a whirlwind of blended colors. A few seconds later (A long time if you can achieve his kind of speed), he could feel the unique sensation of pressing against an invisible threshold of air.

One step and he broke through.

There as a bang, then silence.
