He looked to him with faintly confused eyes that had faint fear of himself in them. "I...that....that wasn't me." He sighed and carefully pulled his hoodie up with only faint winces. The fabric rose to expose large bindings around his torso and chest, holding tightly to the broken pieces that where carefully held together to form him. The black cracks ran like deadly claws from a center point, over his heart, and then outward. They where connected to the black veins over his arms and then down and around his waist and down his legs. The main area by his heart was deeper than the others and it looked like that's where he had physically taken a hit. Like a baseball to a window. His arm was majorly cracked more along the joint of his elbow, soaking with dark scarlet blood.

He tightly bound his arm. "I did this," he said guiltily staring at the dark cracks. "I'm sorry..."

Jason shook his head, wincing as Ash tightly bound his arm. "Don't say that. I shouldn't have let myself crack this far. I usually am able to stop my own shatterings before they get to bad,and same with others. I can stop other's shatterings but....I don't know,I just couldn't get a grip on this one." He said, nervously rubbing the back of his neck, but carefully because both his neck and hand where still fractured.

He was quiet a moment, brooding. The shock of discovering that his brother was responsible for betraying all of Faery was still new, like a wound that wouldn't close. The same went for making Jason fracture as he did. It was obvious he didn't want to believe it.

Jason sighed and gently wrapped his wings around Ash,kneeling besides him. He gently stroked Ash's hair, purring a soft motor like sound.

Ash sighed, but he couldn't get rid of the guilty feeling that hovered over him. "I'm sorry," he apologized again, seeing all the cracks and feeling so bad

"Don't be. Please, don't be." He replied gently, the soft purring continuing. "I should be,I dragged you into a mess that you shouldn't be in. I shouldn't have let things get this far,I really shouldn't have."

"It wasn't your fault. I was practically dead..." He shuddered at the thought that they were going back there. "Let's get out of here." Four horses stood waiting at the cave entrance; faery steeds with jet-black coats, lightning-colored manes, and glowing, white-blue eyes. Their slender hooves didn't quite touch the ground as they stamped and shifted, regarding the duo with eerie intelligence. Ash offered to help Jason into one's saddle.

Jason slipped his hoodie back on carefully over his head and sighed as he looked at the old and new blood stains. He gratefully took the help. "But if it hadn't been for me you wouldn't have been out there,I....didn't know I had you in a deal."

"To be honest, neither did I..." The fey-horse swished its tail and rolled its eyes at Jason. Ash approached another mount and swung easily into the saddle as if he'd done it a thousand times.
