Loki looks at Maverick before turning back in the direction of the cave and walking off.
The flower does not smell sweet but not bad at the same time. More like a netrual scent.

Dreamer ran back towards the cave as fast as she could. She knew in a straight race she could not beat Val but this race has turns which she is good at.

Val tried to use what Dreamer had taught her for the turns, but she was still a novice, so she was nowhere near the skill level that Dreamer was.
