Mega Update Post:
I've been very quiet on the forums. Pre-festival I was mega real-life busy, so I'm still on catch up. (My stables are such a mess!) I've been continuing most of my projects, although a couple have been put on hold for now/dialed back a bit. Firstly though, here's my Spring Fest hatched and catched (Sorry about the grammar there :P)

Webbed Wings! <3 Plus I'm really liking Naga Helmet in this theme. Koi though. >_<


Clownfish - Yay! Mandarinfish - Sure, okay. Together - Nope!


Not a big fan of Poison Dart. Love the Tidal Runes. Together, they're rather too much in this theme. It's a bit kid-scrawl-on-the-wall effect.

Strelitza is going to be a hard theme to balance!

In other Vorp news. I've got Lotus Scales coming through nicely on my Dark Love Vorps:


I even have Webbed Winged carried on a couple. I can hear Spelf groan, but I'm too excited to care. ^_^

My original Water Snake project is mostly done. I'm just going through the motions of getting a pair who can mate on demand. (That sounds a bit dodgy :P) So I've been breeding to get a three Lotus Water Snake. I've got 2-vis coming through, but still not hit the 3-vis yet:

I'm hoping Iridescence comes through rather than Tidal Runes :P


Anyway, sorry for the maaaaaasiiiiiiive post, but hopefully the pretty Vorps make up for the length. :D

The Lotus Scales trait on the Dark Love sylvorpas is just gorgeous! ^o^

On an unrelated note, I was surprised to find that someone bought and released almost a dozen of my tagged Zombified Sylvorpas (for a releasing contest, presumably?). Such a bummer to see them wasted. Le sigh.

Celuwen: Congrats on all the cute finds and hatchlings and the project progress. The combination of lotus scales and henna works really well on the dark loves, I think.

Frawn: I'm sorry to hear about your taggeds being release. I bought a lot of zombie offspring from you to save it from releasing (and because I liked it). I didn't think people would release tagged ones, too.

I don't have many Bird of Paradise Vorpas yet. I just started finding seeds. But this one hatched yesterday and I really like it.

Edit: In terms of project news I got a 5vis Smoothie Sylvorpa. I'm just trying to breed a 6vis to maybe be the first. That's why it's such a mess.

Taptothebeat, I think it's lovely too! Once I've had a few more parent Vorp stock to hand, I'll sell/trade a few. I'll post here first, of course. :)

Ugh, someone released tagged zombies? I know it's in the spirit of the releasing contest, but it does make me wince slightly when tagged pets are released. Talking of zombies, your offspring are looking wonderful. Sanda is especially striking. I just love the very light detailing of the seashell around her eyes, plus webbed wings. Spooky Fog is really working for her too!

I thought you might love Mr. Saltwater-Betta-and-Lotus-Scales McDarklove, (if it wasn't too long, I'd be tempted to use that as his name!) I'll give you a poke when he's old enough for breeding. :)

Mohya, I love your Strelitzia. He has a lovely combination. Sea Fur is gorgeous on the theme! Your Lilypads are lovely. Petal Fins and Clown Triggerfish both a good look.

Good luck on getting the 6-vis Smoothie! It's hard to breed a 6-vis that isn't a bit over-crowded, isn't it. Especially if you have limited options with the theme. Saying that I'd love your Vorp were she a 4-vis (no Lucky Runes and Spooky Fog), she's a cutie!

After the fest is over I'm taking stock of what traits I do and don't have, and have stocked up on greater mutators in order to bring in the traits needed for my own Lilypad project. I have at least one Lilypad with carried Floating Lotus at this point, will probably give one of them vis after the event.

I know someone had a thread somewhere, - we had all the same traits except we wanted for our project except we wanted different G1 and G2 traits - we wanted the 3 lotus traits and fairy wings... I can't find the thread though orz even though we were going to help each other out...
