He checks his phone, seeing a text from Blake's godfather. He frowns, reading it. He rolls his eyes, texting back an 'I'm okay' before turning off his phone.

She stays silent, continuing to pet the bird.

He stands, smiling kindly down at Himitsu. "I'd better go..." He mumbles, looking at the door.

"Alright." She replies quietly, still obviously tired.

He walks out, looking at the floor sadly.

She leans back and closes her eyes.

He slides into his car, looking at the cards he was supposed to put in the flowers. He reads them both, sneering and ripping them up. He throws them into the passenger seat, tightening his hold on the steering wheel.

She places the cup on the bedtable and falls back asleep.

He speeds off, the roar of his engine disturbing the peace in the neighborhood.

She doesn't sleep long, despite how tired she is.
