Sonic let out a short yelp and hopped back to dodge out of the way. When he snapped out of it, he took off. "AJAL! WHERE'D YOU GET TO?" He unknowingly shot right past Selkie like a blue arrow.

Kaladin looked around. What is this place...?

Knuckles came to a full halt at the enterance of the base. Any casual indifference from eariler was replaced by a heavy seriousness. He cast one glance at Tails and Clik before pulling back a fist and taking the steel door off it's hinges in just two blows.

Ajal had already been in the room where Hagin had been and was no longer there.

Selkie tried to follow as fast as he could.

Nox grimmanced.

Sonic skidded to a halt once he found out where Ajal had ran off to. "Ooh boy..." He muttered, looking over the base.

Knuckles casually slipped inside, not really caring if anybody noticed the group. He was dead set on his goal at this point, and anyone foolish enough to get in his way would pay the price.
(Is Hagin still in the base?)

Kaladin continued to silently follow, uneasy as ever. He encountered a heavy, sinking feeling, but just couldn't place it.

"...If you desire to confront him, I won't interfere." Zero stated.

(Hidden in the base and only has one shard on him and scattered the others throughout the base.)

Ajal kept going sensing his old leader was nearby. He was ready for anything.


Selkie caught up when he could and was panting hard and red int he face from the running.

"I would rather let him rot." Nox muttered.

Sonic paced back and forth in front of the wall for a moment, then nodded, curling up into a ball and preforming a spindash. His quills tore through the metal, sending a shower of sparks all around.

Knuckles paused at an intersection, then took a right, scanning the tunnel. "He was smart enough to not leave them in the same place." He grumbled.

Zero nodded. "Fair enough."

Nox looked on at her former partner.

Ajal found a shard and kept going encouraged slightly by the shiny rock.

The shard pulsed once in Ajal's hand as Kaladin looked on, stunned. That's... is that even possible? That echidna... is this why he was down here?

Sonic smirked at the gash in the wall and hopped through. After allowing his eyes to adjust, he took off again.

Knuckles completely demolished the wall that stood between him and the Emerald piece with a firey vengance. once it was down, however, he just stood amoungst the rubble for a moment. He sighed, then went to retrieve the small crystal.

The base was almost ready to collapse in on itself.

Ajal kept going.

Selkie caught up, What did I miss?

(Knux only broke one wall and a door....)

Kaladin shook his head slowly. I'm not sure...

Sonic sped down the halls. As he did, he wondered why the base was so... Assasin-less.

Knuckles sighed once in the middle of another hallway further down and glanced down at the Emerald Shard. "So close. So close." He muttered, looking unusally downcast.

(Sonic broke one wall, Kux broke a wall and a door. Hagin set the place to fall on top of them.)

Selkie nodded still panting.

Ajal found the passageway and found the secret room, "Hagin it's you and me. I want a clean fight."
