"A swarm of Lunemaras, huh? How interesting. My mother was an astrologist, so she taught me."
"I don't know exactly how being an astrologist also entails being able to navigate by the stars, but that's pretty cool. So I'm guessing you're kind of following in her footsteps?"

Moon paused, hesitating. " No, my mother is a traveling writer and my father..." She shook her head, refusing to continue. " I rarely see my mother and Phoenix was a birthday present from her." Moon added softly. " I learned those quotes from a book in my father's study."
( In case you can't guess, her dad died so she doesn't like talking about it. And she didn't live by herself, she and her brother, Light, lived with their grandmother.)
