"I'm here for my girlfriend. We have someplace to be tonight," Jake said casually

From under a bed came a muffled, "I AM NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND!"

Jake chuckled and shook his head. "Doesn't like labels."

"I'm FINE with labels, what I'm not fine with is YOU!" Electa yelled, her voice still muffled.

Alister got a little protective, and said, " Sorry, from what I heard she broke up with you...and quite frankly, she is mine. " He hissed, not realizing what he said.

"Oh, really?" Jake asked. "Since when? I don't remember Electa mentioning you at all in the car ride we had yesterday."

Electa didn't process what Jake was saying. She was glad to be under the bed to hide the blush creeping across her cheeks

" Well, that's because I am not so insecure in my relationship that I require my girlfriend to mention my name whenever she goes out with her friends. "

"Friends? Please. I'm more than a friend, thank you. See, unlike you, I am not pathetic enough to steal someone else's soulmate."

"NOT YOUR SOULMATE!" She yelled, hoping to show that she was unaffected by this conversation when the exact opposite was true.

" She wants nothing to do with you, that's why we've been sharing this place, and not you with her. She wants me pal, and if she wanted you she'd be with you right now. Last I checked, I am the only thing she wants right now. "

Electa decided the only way to get rid of Jake was to play along, so she got out from under the bed, and coming up beside Alister, putting a hand on his chest. "That's right, Jake. Now go away."

Jake laughed, disbelieving. "Yeah, right. I'm not going to believe this for a second."

Alister rolled his eyes, trying to remain calm.. and then he remembered something. Electra said they could kiss anytime they wanted. So, he put on a smug expression and gently tipped Electra's chin up, " Does this make you believe? " He said before kissing Electra.. he already knew she'd be slapping him later. Or making him sleep outside.

Electa's eyes would've gone wide, but she had to make it believable, so she kissed him back. Hard.

Jake laughed again. "Wow. Quite the show. But no. I don't believe it. Electa was always a good liar, but I could always see through them."

Slowly, almost hesitantly he broke off the kiss and just glared at Jake, " Then by now you should know when she is telling the truth.. and the truth is, she doesn't want you. "
