Wolfspirit left the kits near a tree and dove into the water not knowing he was saving Petalfall. He swam as best as he could until he got a hold of Petalfall's scruff

Wolfspirit barely made it the river side and threw the cat onto the shore before getting out himself. He curled around Petalfall trying to warm her up but instead resorted to licking her fur the wrong way in an effort to warm her up. He acted like she was a newborn kit who need to be warmed up.
