"Maybe but where they're going I wouldn't want to tag along because Skipper is going to rescue his family,'' Selkie responds.
Marcos nods back, "Aye."

"I wasn't aware he had family elsewhere until today..." Kaladin remarked softly.

"That's why he took to the sea to rescue them after Black Beard captured them," Selkie looks around, "Skipper had retired until that attack happened."

Locke nodded once. "Ah thought 'e looked ah wee bit too... elderly ta be ah sailor." He noticed.

Selkie raised a brow, "You'd be very suprised then. Where I've traveled some people sail and fish their entire lives."

"Fishin' is one thing. Skip ain't ah fisher, or at least he don't fish regularly. Ye can fish anywhere, but most fishers stay close ta land. Sailin' further from land is rougher." Locke noticed.

"True," Selkie attmited.
"So my family has sailed the seven seas all their lives even if they were over Skipper's age," Nathanial huffed, "we are made of stronger stuff then blubber."

"Aye, but it comes naturally fer yer species," Locke was thinking aloud at this point. "But a canine? As great as tha' sailor's life is, Ah'd rather spend me last days in a lush highland overlookin' ah loch, out in tha wind."

"Aye," Marcos barks.
Nathanial goes over to Selkie, "Both our species."

Locke nodded in response to Nathaniel. "Precicesly."
