"No.Sorry,couldn't." He said,shaking his head a bit. He stood and shakily rolled his shoulderings,closing his eyes tightly for only a moment. He then looked to the two little ice creatures on the bed. "I should wake them."

He smiled, running a hand through Jason's hair. "Yeah. You should." The next words he muttered, almost to himself. "Why am I so drawn to you? Why is it so hard to let go? I thought...at first...it was Ian, that you remind me of so much. But its not." Though he didn't smile, his eyes lightened a shade. "You're far more stubborn than he ever was, you know that?"

Jason looked back at Ash,blushing with a faint smile. "I'm not that stubborn." He said softly,his purple eye glowing faintly in the rich lavender way. Shade sneezed and that caused both the little things to wake up,Fatespeaker huffing a bit and pushing Shade's head to the bed as she stretched,claws reaching out as she stretched like a cat silently. Shade kicked but it did no good against the slightly larger dragon like creature replica.

"We should go. Sweetfinger and I made a deal. He'll get us out of the city through the goblin tunnels that run beneath it. We'll need to hurry--Rowan's Thornguards are still scouring the streets for us."

He nodded and swept his tail over to the two little ice creatures,both knowing what to do as they scuttled up his tail then his back and onto each of his shoulders. Fatespeaker giving a specific look to the two boys and Shade clapping silent icy talons as he smiled gleefully at the two as if to say 'Your both so cute together.' Jason sighed and rolled his eyes as Shade,picking him up and putting him in the hoodie pocket gently,Fatespeaker giving one last smile to the two on her sharp edged elegant snout then slunk into the pocket with her icy brother.

"Wait," he said, blocking the doorway. "Before we go...one last thing?"

"Huh?Sure." He replied,wings shuffling at his sides and hazel and purple eyes looking to Ash.

His heart started thudding in his chest. "Kiss me," he whispered. "Just once more," he pleaded, "and I promise it will be the last time. I'll be able to forget you after that." A bald-faced lie. Even if he turned nine hundred, lost his mind and forgot everything else, the memory of the Jason would be a shining beacon that would never fade.

Jason smiled and came over to him,gently stroking his cheek. "I wouldn't want it to be the last time." He said,being honest. But a small tint in his eyes hinted that it hurt that Ash would be able to forget him,he still believed him.

"I'm talking about when I have to take you to Summer...where you're safe...After we get done in the Iron Realm. Please?" He begged
