she releases the arrow drops the bow and runs.

You hear a loud screech as the arrow strikes the wolf.

But, you can still hear it trying to run after you, panting in pain. Small arcs of electricity are nipping at your heels.

she rushes further up the path back to the fork she turns hoping to lose it.

You hear the creature whine as it tries to climb up the elevated path.

After a few minutes, you hear silence.

she looks back to see if it is still there.

It's lying on its side, a little off the path. Now that you're a little closer, you can hear it wheezing. The arrow is lodged just behind its right foreleg.

she goes up and pulls the arrow out.

Since the arrow's out, you can see that you barely missed vital organs. At any rate, the wound begins bleeding. The wolf's eyes are glazed with pain, but it's stopped whining. It's just breathing heavily.

"Oh...?" I said and leaned my head against the tree "yea... The elders always told me to stay away from fire... I always turned it grey... And it scared them..." I said shrugging.

"Why is that? Did the color mean something to them?"
