Kristine sighed and looked around. She grabbed a crutch and handed it to him.

Nathaniel shook his head. "Well, ya should have followed her. Guess ya don't care 'bout as much as I thought." He said the second part muttering to himself as he opened the door to try and figure out where his mom was.

Kara smiles weakly at him. "Why don't you go check on Margo? She seemed pretty upset." She said as she started tying off Brenda's arm.

The man like at her. "What made you let me out?" He leans on the crutch.

Martin nods. "Is she ok?" He points the the little girl that was on the ground.

Kristine shrugged. "Just go outside and ask for water." She said continuing down the hall.

(Rick?)

(You do mean Brenda right?)
Kara sighed. "I don't know... We have to wait for her to wake up." She said as she finished wrapping most of Brenda's head.

"Please wait!" He holds out a hand. "I-i don't want to be alone..."

Rick curse then follows the boy.

Martin nods. "Here." He holds out a tube of cream. "It says it helps with scaring I think..."

Kristine sighs. "Well, I do. Ya can make it out there and there'll be plenty of people and ya won't be alone." She said continuing down the hall.

Nathaniel turns around and glares at Rick. "Hey, it ain't me who's goin' 'round pretendin' ta love someone who hasn't been loved in a long time." He turned back walking further into the building. "And ya'd do well ta remember that I love'd her first."

Kara sighs and takes the tube from him. "It's after scar cream but it will help later." She said with a small smile. "You're a nice boy, you know that, right?" She rubbed his head ruffling his hair. "Well I did all that I can for now. I should go see about a room inside to lay her down in. I don't want to move her more then I have to." She stood up and rubbed her hands off on her thighs. "Could you keep an eye on her while I do that? If she wakes up try and calm her down were she doesn't try to move too much."

Martin nods and sits on the ground next to the girl.

Rick was good minded to punch the kid in the face, kill him, and call it down. "Hey now I was not the one that went off to explore the hallway." He sees the guy out of the cell. "Put your hands up!" He pulls out the gun.

The man slowly puts his hands up. "Please call you friend off..."

Kristine looked around the man down the hall. "He's 'kay Rick. Just give him some water." She said continuing to walk down the hall. She wasn't done being alone. She needed to think.

Nathaniel shook his head at Rick's excuse. It was a bad one, she was just trying to help clear the building. He walked down the hall and stood next to the man. "Ya want some help?" He offered.

Kara smiles and walks inside holding her gun and sees Rick standing there. "Is there a cleared clean room? Brenda got hurt and I want to find a place for her to rest."

Brenda's Breathing got stronger but stayed unsteady.

Rick puts the gun down. "I think I have your room ready." He looks back at Kara. "Mind telling me what happened?"

Carl gets off the bus slowly. "Dad?" He looks around deciding to go down the alley way. "Dad?" He walks in the almost dark space. "Dad?" He stumbles falling, a walker right in front of him. "DAD!"

Rock gears the cry. "Carl!" He runs outside, seeing the Walker. He fumbles with his gun, shooting the thing in the head. He did not see the other to his left until it was too late. The thing bites into his neck, severing the vein. Rick falls to the ground in a bleeding heap.

Alexie was behind the Walker just as Rick fell. The man stabd the Walker. "Kara!" His deep voice calls.

The man manages the limp out side, his leg injured as well as his side. The state of his dehydration was intense but the time was not for water but for morning.

Kara ran outside. "My god..." She mummered and ran to check on Carl. "Hey buddy, you okay?" She tried blocking his view of Rick as she helped him up.

Kristine whirls at the yelling. "No.." She said so quietly she didn't hear it herself. She dropped her gun and ran outside and fell down next to Rick. She was afraid to touch him. "R-rick?" She whispered to him her voice cracking. She remembered what he had told her. "Kat!" She yelled looking around for her.

Nathaniel almost couldn't tell what was going on but knew it was bad when his mom went running out the door behind him. He spun and ran after her. He say Rick laying on the ground bleeding. He felt awful, for everything he had said to him. He touched his mom's shoulder and she turned looking up at him with tears in her eyes. "Get Kat..." She said her voice hushed. Nathaniel quickly ripped off his shirt, put it on Rick's neck and carefully took his mom's hand and pressed it on top to help stop the bleeding. He ran the way Kat had been and, seeing her, stopped panting a little. "Rick got bit... My m-mom said ta get ya...." He choked out. "Ya need ta hurry..." He said pointing back to where he had come from.

Jules awoke smiling. She stretch and got out of the heli in time to hear a gun shot. She grabbed her kit and ran over to the place the sound came from. "Damn..." She said then knelt down next to Rick. She saw it would be pointless to ask Kristine what happened so she looked up at Alexie. "What happened to him?" She asked opening her kit and grabbed the last vile of sedative. She sighed and got it ready to give him a shoot.

Brenda opened her eyes, her vision fuzzy, at the sound of all the yelling. It sounded like Kelly. She started to sit up but her arm hurt. She tried looking around and saw a fuzzy face. "M-martin?" She said, her voice a scratchy whisper.

Kat was standing by the bus. Kat shakes her head. "I can't help I'm not a doctor...." She shakes. She had but one more vile and that was for safe keeping. The rest were in a building in town.

Rick was shaking. "I-I feel so cold." He shutters the blood still gushing from his neck wound."please....."

Yasa was by their sides now. "Rick, just calm down. Think of something you love, and keep that close to you...." He man nods and closes his eyes. He breaths shallowly then stops breathing.
