"I'm fine really," Selkie replies, "I just want to help."
"You have five seconds to go back to the village and stay with Locke," Douglas tells Selkie, "One."
Selkie looks to the bush, "Kaladin over there."
"Two."
There was a small sling with a name carved into the base of it.
"Three."

Once Selkie had left, Kaladin walked over and inspected the sling.

The name Kaden was carved into the base of the sling.
Douglas was still searching the area.
