Collin kept glancing to the side as he carried on, eyes narrowed and ears erect.

Kaladin hesitantly reached out and rubbed a hand over Kai's fur in an attempt to calm her down.

Locke tilted his head. "Le's see iffin tha twins have settled." He suggested.

As soon as Kaladin touches Kai she jumps up and slashes his hand with her fangs. Relizing what she had done she licks the wound, Sorry.

Enjoy it while it lasts then, Umbra snorts as he walks past.


"Agreed," Nathanial looks around, "I don't hear anything that sounds like fighting."

Night slips into the medical ward.

Kaladin barely managed to keep his quills down at the sudden flash of fangs, but he looked down at Kai with a calm gaze. "No, its alright. What happened?"

Noble waited a minute, then undid the latch on his pen and galloped after Umbra.

Umbra hears and keeps going at the pace he was going at.


A nightmare, Kai presses up against Kaladin, or a really bad memory.


Skipper was in his cabin while Douglas was monitering Selkie.

Eva was in the pasture beside Phantom sound asleep.

Starlight walks toward the kitchen.

(By the way it's the middle of the night there.)

Noble quickly intercepted Umbra. Stop right there!

Kai allowed herself to be pulled in tight.
