She put a hand to her forehead, seeming to realize what she had said, "I meant to say what if we ask her, but I don't think she'll tell us," She sighed.

"..." Jason raised an eye brow. "Yeah, don't ever ask the caster, trust me. Doesn't turn out well." he pulled up a sleeve and showed long scars along his arm. Knife scars, claw scares and teeth scars. He pointed to a long one under his fore arm.

"Well then what am I supposed to do," Ruby says with a sigh hiding her clawed hands again so they wouldn't see, "It's not like there is a lot we can do. I'm going to kill someone by accident..."

"I can at least try this enchantment. It seems to be a calming spell of sorts." Jason said, pulling his sleeve back down.

"Calming spell? Will it stop the curse," She asked digging her claws into her arm before winching a bit in pain, letting go, "Even if it doesn't anything would be nice."

"It might calm any emotional or mental change." he said, noticing the wince.

She nodded, "So it might slow down the curse," She asked.

"Yeah, because I know too many scrolls to read in a few hours." he said, gently putting a hand to her forehead.

She flinched a bit as he touched her forehead, but didn't protest, it wasn't like she wanted to have these thoughts or anything.

Jason read the scroll three times, then closed his eyes and began muttering. It was soft, then louder and louder in dragon.
