Theres several different books. But they all say generally the same stuff;

*Vita used to believe in a singular god, who they believed had made them, and that residue of his magic had created the other species
*Vita stopped believing this about 300 years ago after the war started
*The few religious vita left also believe that ghostblood is actually the blood of a second god, who will one day cause the apocalypse. This second god is unnamed

She reads it all

Because its unnamed, the writers took the creative liberty of naming this being themlselves. Theres a lot of different names, but Solas personal favorite is The Ghostheart.
