The echidna slipped inside, casting a glanced at the dozing hedgehog on the couch. He rolled his eyes. "Stupid hedgehog. Why do you do things like that, huh?" He muttered before sitting down in an armchair with a huff.

The dagger vanished as Cobalt's head slammed into the ground, his eyes not closing upon the impact. He tried to lunge upwards, unable to under Kini's strength.

Cobalt struggled to get free, his arms twisting to unnatural positions as his eyes flickered a reddish purple.

About an hour later, Sonic woke up with a yawn, prompting Knuckles to cast him a glance.
"Hedgehog." He acknowledged.
"If you call me Hedgehog, do I get to call you Echidna?" Sonic quipped with a smirk.
