Kai looks up at Kaladin, Do you want to tell them or should I?

Kaladin shrugged. "You can tell them."

He made it back to the island but he betrayed Luner and about killed Selkie. Not only that but he is Jack Calico's brother. Jacob's crew was also attacked on this island, Kai tells them.

Valko and Sakani exchanged glances
"To most of our people, a group of outsiders poses a threat, marooned or otherwise. It's a risk we typically don't take. I'll garentee that the sailors' current presence has caused a great amount of unrest in the village. I heard about the otter, and he was a different story; He was alone, young, unarmed, and oblivious." Sakani explained.

Kai nods once, True and he and the wolf captain have tried to keep the crew to the ship.

"Yes, and that has certianally reassured some." Sakani agreed. "Along with the fact that we knew they were coming eventually, and meaning no harm. That's harder to determine with a band of dubious, rugged strangers."

True, Kai barks, but Selkie is doing his best to help protect this island as well. To return the favor since Kaladin saved his life.

Sakani nodded thoughtfully.

Kai looks around, Did you need help mapping the caves?

Sakani shook his head. "Not at the moment. Valko and I just got back from the caves for the morning, and I'm just adding a few final touches to the maps before we set out again this afternoon."
