Suddenly the king walks in, the queen quickly moves over, bowing her head in respect to her mate and king. "My love, wonderful of you to join us." She greets, smiling brightly. The king gazes lovingly at her, smiling back before taking his seat and putting on his cold facade. "Speak up boy." He snaps at Nick as a maid sets a silver tray in front of him.

Nick quickly stood, saying, "Yes, Your Majesty." He could only hope he had said the right thing. "Sorry, Your Majesty," he said as he bowed

The king watches Nick closely before waving his hand for him to sit down. Caspian strides through the doors, sitting at his fathers left and next to Nick. He sits properly, back straight and a stone-cold look on his face as he greets his mother and father formerly.

Nick notices the prince's posture and tries to copy it as he sits.

He glances over at Nick, nodding as he begins to eat.

He hoped that meant that he did something right. He started to eat, making sure to not shovel food into his mouth

Once they finished the meal the maids took the trays silently, bowing and exiting the room.

Nick had started to slouch, and he made sure to straighten his posture

"So Nick dear, what do you wish to become when you become older?" The queen asks, smiling softly at him.

Nick thought for a moment, trying to rack his brain for the right answer. When he couldn't think of one, he just told her the truth. "I'm not sure."
