Kaladin smiled and nodded. "He's recovering in my people's village. I could take you back in a bit, though I'd like to find the rest of your crew first..."

At that Nathanial's shoulders drooped, "I'm sorry to tell you Marcos and I are the only ones of our crew here the others that were alive were traded to other pirates including Ridgeback."

Kaladin frowned at the mention of Locke's former captor. "If you don't mind me asking, how many were sold to Ridgeback?"

"Two to three were to my knowalge," Nathanial answers, "one Frank did not take orders well at all from any captain aside from Waverider."

Kaladin huffed, debateing over wether he should be the bearer of bad news.
Luckily, he didn't have to.
"My condolences, lads, but those three 'r prob'ly gone." Locke spoke up from down the hall.
"What are you doing down here?" Kaladin inquired against his better judgement.
"Avoidin' Skip." The colie shrugged. "Seemed upset aboot tha' whistle...."

"The grey wolf is more then upset he's livid," Nathianal speaks, "and I know I already heard when the hound was taken down by the captain. I hoped that they were traded or Seaweed rescued them."

Locke frowned, but left the topic alone.
Kaladin gestured towards the stairs. "Well, Selkie will be glad to see you both, I think. We should get going."

Nathanial translates for Marcos and the Spanial runs down the steps.
"Sorry he's excited. Locke is it," Nathianal asks, "nice to meet you I'm Nathanial and the Spanial that just did the hundred meter dash is Marcos."

Locke nodded. "Aye, tha's me. The pleasure's mine."

Nathanial nods once, "So how is the captain?"
