Maddy picked at her nails just listening, she kicked some rocks and sticks mumbling under her breath her hair blocked her eyes so no one could really see her face expression

Virgil hummed in a your welcome gesture to Kalib and looks at Maddy. Virgil tapped Kalib and signed "I'm go talk to her for a bit Kalib," Virgil went to Maddy and pats her head in silence.

Kalib bobs his head in understanding and wishes Virgil luck. When Virgil goes back, part of Kalib wants to go with him, but the other half stays to await Oris' answer. He stuffs his hands in his pockets only to draw them back out again, finger his saber, take out his crossbow and check on it, put the crossbow back once satisfied, and double check that all his ammunition is in its case while he waits for a reply.

Virgil sighed and walked next to her and being stubborn. Virgil signed, "No you look like you need company even if it is in silents," Virgil looks in her while signing.

Oris absolutely hated himself for how poorly he was handeling thing, he knew he wasn't the easiest to read, actualy scratch that, he was probably the absolute worst in that departement, but he genualy just wanted to get along. He wasn't expecting anyone to bother even trying to speak with him after his reaction but he welcomed it nontheless as mutch as he could. " It's fine, we should be close by now, but any help would be apreciated. Also, sory for the scene earlyer, i didn't ment to lash out, i am usualy not like that..."

Virgil sighed and spoke knowing she needs to hear, "Life is never fair to anyone believe me I know but saying nothing will be better can be the better you want just around the corner. Maddy being a leader doesn't happen right away it takes many mistakes and your experience you face to be a leader," Virgil said and starts to walk away from Maddy just a little so she can still catch up if she wants.

she watched him leave and sighed she didnt wanna talk about it and knew if she did she would cause more trouble than she already did

"It's alright. I also tend to do and say things I don't mean when tense or spread too thin." Kalib says, pausing a moment to ask himself why he doesn't feel as stressed as he could be. He didn't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing and decided to call it good until told or proven otherwise. Then he has to ask himself if he wants to climb a tree because Oris seems to have said 'no need' at the beginning and then ' help welcome' at the end. He decides that even if not really needed, climbing trees are fun, and he heads to a tree to climb a tree. He makes a face when the first part proves to be a puzzle.
Kalib manages to pull himself up onto the lowest branches and continue from there, going up a few branches and over to keep the group's pace. He pauses when he can to checks his forearm, which is stinging, and makes a face when he finds his forearm skinned and starting to bleed. He didn't bother checking his smarting side, figuring it has suffered the same fate. He brushes it off, pulling his hoodie sleeve back down, and looks around to be the lookout he promised to be.
He feels he has something of an advantage point, being able to see farther than the others. He glances forward and smiles when he sees the village between the trees. Hey, at least they are close! The sooner they get this over with, the better, right? Then he looks back and around, his ears helping him to tell where to look when he hears something that isn't his team. He perks up when he sees a squirrel, chirping a 'hello squirrel' before thinking. Kalib keeps his distance from the little animal. He knows how dangerous a squirrel can be when angered.
