Ryan eagerly agrees for sparring. Ray was feeling less eager about that, never having used a sword. Or not in a long long while, that is. There was that one time, but it was so long ago and it wasn't much knowledge, Ray didn't feel as confident as they could have. Knowing is half the battle after all.

Well, Ray was correct about the knowledge for sure.

Jack smiled a little, he was going to go easy and only slap them with the side of the blade if they failed to block.

Ryan, since he was so eager, went first. He knew a few tactics and ways to attack and block. He got hit a few times, a bit too slow.

Jack let him get a few hits on him, but jabbed forward and slapped Ryan's thighs and side when he could. He wasn't too harsh, but he would have to be later on if they where going to learn quickly.

Ryan tries his best to block, not wanting to get hit. Ray was taking mental notes on how Jack and Ryan preferred to attack and block. Sam was watching them, pretty positive she wasn't ready for this after watching them for a while.

"Keep your eyes on the apponent." He said, thought sounded like he knew they knew already. He circled Ryan a little, gently trying to poke his back.

Ryan didn't let Jack get his back, circling as well. He was focused and that helped, but he wasn't too good and he didn't have the patience it sometimes took. He lunges at Jack, wanting to hit him - of course, making sure to hit with the flat of the blade if at all.

Jack twisted his sword to block, calmly leaning back a bit with the hit before gently using the pressure to push Ryan back. "Nice one!"

Ryan beams at the pride, getting distracted. "Thanks!" He says cheerfully. When he starts getting pushed back, he tries to stay his ground and ends up bending backwards.
