Jessie followed reluctantly.

Brian bounced by Jessie, an excited grin on their face and their white eyes wide.

Mr. Lit packed some stuff, looking through the stuff he had.
"Judging by the poison I say we have maybe about a week max until it... happens," He didn't want to say the word out loud, preferring to avoid it, "I don't think we should reveal who he or we might get attacked. Not like we won't get attacked. I'd prefer not to bring him at all but we have to. I'm thinking of traveling to tell the current... kings of Khadara but time is greatly against us."

Brian opened their mouth to say something, but Jessie put her hand over their mouth to shush them.

(My first train of thought: Oh no. Don't give Oliver to kings or tell them about his role. People in power tend to not want competition. That would be disaster waiting to happen.
My next thought: I forget which kingdom is named that. So it could be a potentially peaceful kingdom so yeah, sure. No better safe place.)

Scarab wanted to have everyone know that everything was going to be alright, so they sent a small calm vibe to everyone around them.
Azrail noticed this, and gently squeezed Scarab's hand to let them know that this is probably not the best time to do that.

(The kingdom is the one kinda without a ruler... let's just say it ain't good)

Mr. Lit felt a little calmer, but he was so stressed out it didn't do much. He packed the rest of his things, putting it all in a backpack before putting it on. It was pretty huge and heavy, but he was used to it. He grabbed a map and a cool necklace.
"Okay... hm, let's get rid of the stuff we have to carry first," The blue stone on the necklace glowed as his backpack disappeared, "Everyone ready?"

Jessie was confused on why she felt just a tad calm, it wasn't a usual feeling for her. It made her angry so she kicked Brian in the shin as she nodded to Mr.Lit.

Brian gave a soft yelp.

At the yelp, Scarab immediately stops trying to calm people down and begins to feel very bad for using their powers. They had just wanted to help! Feeling a little bit sad and unhelpful, Scarab huddled closer to Azrail. Azrail confirmed that they were ready.

Mr. Lit sighed, "Let's go before something else happens," He walked out of his house, glancing sadly at it, "Seven days. It'll take about three just to fly across the kingdom," He sighed again.

(*Raises hand enthusiastically* Kiwi!)

Jessie lazily followed Mr.Lit, tapping her phone screen until Brain put a hand on it and began yabbering to her about something.

They smiled brightly, bouncing all around her.

(No clue. Maybe a very friendly and creative being called Kiwi?)

"Ok, no time like the present to start." Riley says, eager to get over there and get the cure and save his child.
