Without time to show that she had heard what Se'therran had said, Piper dove underneath the were-cheeta, attempting to impale it's underbelly at the same time. The were-cheetah may be fast, but piper was smaller, and she planned to use this to her advantage.

It saw her and kicked her in the gut.
The werebear swiped at Se'therran, and he dodged, before lunging ahead to stab the werebear in the chest. He missed anything vital.

Deertail walked through the camp towards the medicine tent, humming softly to herself. When she arrived at the tent she saw signs of a fight. Droplets of blood, bits of hair, and ripped tent fabric. She began to get worried, what if a Nighthowler attacked? She called out for her mentor, "... Veris! Are you... alright? It's D-Deertail!"

Piper grunted in pain, falling backwards. Gritting her teeth with effort, she stood up again to face the cheetah.

The cheetah dropped low, and suddenly lunged again, but missed, sprawling on the ground.
The werebear slammed a fist into Se'therran's chest, making an audible crack as several ribs broke. Se'therran flopped away. The werebear loomed over him.
