Zeth

It was massive and beautiful, just as Zeth hoped. It was a bit old fashioned (considering the rp takes place in the future) but the old fashion design was refreshing.

Somehow, it reminded her of something she had wanted to ask Scias for a long time now.
She hopped off of the couch and made her way over to him. "Hey, uh..I have a question. It has bothered me for several months now..."

Scias & Aesis
"What's that?"

Scias
"Holy Proxima, dude, shut up for a sec." Scias grumbled before relaxing a bit. " Seriously though, what's up?"

Zeth

"How the hell do you clean yourself if you can't touch water? That's screwed up. Please for the love of god tell me you practice hygiene!"

In whole honesty, she did have an important question in mind, but she couldn't bring herself to mention it. Although that wasn't her intended question, it was bothering her.


Yuko

He heard a familiar voice, as well as one that was unfamiliar. He waited, peaking around a corner to ensure everything was safe.

Scias
"I mean.. we're kinda self-cleaning most of the time. Like if it gets really bad I'll just run my current high for a bit and torch everything on me off. Also try to not let my scutes get too messed up in the first place so I don't have to shed them or anything."

He shrugged.
"You're not the first person to ask."

Aesis
'I am not sure that was the question she intended to ask..'

Zeth

"As long as you are actually clean." She heard Yuko and with a warm smile, opened her arms to him. They both embraced, laughing a bit, both relieved to see the other was safe.
"Yuko, this is Scias and or Aesis, and this is Yuko. I'm glad you two could finally meet. Yuko has been my companion for...about three months, right?"

Yuko

The Fekton nodded, letting go of Zeth and offering to shake Scias/Aesis' hand.
"A pleasure. I have heard a lot about you. Almost makes me jealous." He said with his usual warm smile.

Scias
"..Companion?"
His expression had changed almost in a moment. He just stared at Yuko blankly with a crushed, distant look on his face and shook his hand half-heartedly.

"..yeah, I guess."
He relented control back to Aesis, retreating from the situation before it got any more awkward for him.

Aesis
Aesis was even less equipped to handle the situation and awkwardly pulled his hand away from Yuko.
"Nice to meet you too."

'Again with this?'
He could feel his upset leaking into his own mood as he gave Yuko a bit of a nervous smile.

Scias
'Don't even bother. I don't want to talk.'

Zeth

"Ya, I picked him up a while back. I rescued him a while ago from some criminals that tried to sell him off, but he had no where to go. I offered to let him stay with me for a while, and he's been with me ever since."

She picked up on the trace of sadness in Aesis' mood, but wasn't sure what the issue was. She had had feelings for Scias, even despite the six month separation, and she was sure he knew that. Maybe he was hungry?

"Hey yuko, dinner?" She asked politely, to which he nodded, getting to work on a few gems.


Yuko

He was thrilled to get a chance to cook for Zeth's guests. She had already talked about her friends enough that Yuko knew whet to make them.

He wasn't sure what exact gemstones Scais/Aesis had a preference for, so he made a little of everything. Once he had finished, he left to go sunbathe for a bit, just to make she he would be completely charged up, leaving the meals on the counter for whenever they were ready to eat.

(just a fun bit of misunderstanding, heheh. Companion and mate are used interchangeably with the Daarizi to refer to someone they are literally life partners with. Scias can't read context very well and he's still kinda protective as heck of people around her.)

Aesis
"Interesting. I don't think either of us have encountered one of his species before. We had known of a species of molten rock.. but one of gemstone is very.. interesting.
It is hard not to see him as some sort of.. delicacy, as odd as it is for me to say. I can see why he would be coveted." He eyed the gems on the counter, now really unsettled by the whole thing.
He didn't exactly know how he felt about eating anything off a sentient heap of crystal.

(ah, I see.)

Zeth

"Honestly, I agree. As much as I hate to admit it, he really seems like more of a decoration than a living thing. I hate to take advantage of him, but he keeps insisting that he owes me in exchange for saving his life."

She walked over and grabbed the two plates of food, offering one to Aesis as she moved to be seated at the dinning room table.

Aesis
He took it reluctantly and took a seat at the dining table.
"An odd way to speak of a companion. Usually one is far closer to the one they choose to spend their lives with." He set the plate down, looking it over briefly with some interest before returning his attention on Zeth.
"I agree it is strange to meet such an alien, but I am sure many species on this planet would say the same of my species."
