"I don't like funerals either." Jordyn notes, silently urging Asher back down to floor level. After a small silent argument, Asher comes down and walks beside the two.
"So... When are we going to rest?" Asher asks.
"Um... Never. I'm joking. I'm not sure. I haven't survived in a big group like this for a while... If we want to take a break to rest, a 'course we'll take turns watching out for baddies so that none of us get surprise attacked by monsters... I say we still have around five more hours to find a new place to camp for the night." Jordyn offers.
"We're going to walk for five hours straight?" Asher asks in disbelief.
"Did I say anything about resting before the five hours are up? I believe I hadn't, so yes, we are 'walking five hours straight'. Unless you have something better to do... Whatever would you have better to do?" Jordyn asks.
"Resting. I'd have walked my feet off during those first three hours. Imagine how many miles!" Asher complains.
"Shut it, numbskull." Jordyn says, picking up a 'clean' and old skull left by some creature and placing it on Asher's head. "Hey, you look like a Wendigo now."

"No he doesn't. They're bigger." Haki points out passively. She yawns softly.

"I can be bigger." Asher says, standing on his tip toes and opening his wings to try and make himself look bigger. He growls playfully. "I'm a Wendio, fear me."

She simply shakes her head. She's clearly getting tired.

Asher laughs, seeming to have more energy than he had had before. He races ahead to come back, eyes alight with cheerfulness. One time, he raced ahead - still a 'Wendigo' - and he didn't come back for a while.
"Asher?" Jordyn calls, quickening her pace. "Asher, where are you?"
"Rawrgh!" Asher pounces from the wall above her, tackling her. He laughs, sitting atop her chest. "Let's take a break."
"We can't we still have to find-" Jordyn is interrupted by Asher.
"Nah, we don't. Plus, Hakira is getting tired. Please?"
"Fine. We'll stop for a little bit." Jordyn relents.
"Yes!" Asher says, punching the air in victory. He rolls off Jordyn.

Hakira is barely even awake by now. She's getting really slow and lethargic.

"Hey, are you alright Hakira?" Asher asks, sitting cross-legged. Jordyn grumbles, getting to her knees before standing back up.
"You are impossible to live with Asher." Jordyn snaps.
"I'm a Wendigo now." Asher says, pointing to the skull.
"I should never have mentioned it." Jordyn groans.
"Nope, you shouldn't have. But you did." Asher says with a shrug.

She flops to the ground and falls asleep near instantly. She begins snoring faintly.

"Jordyn gets first watch then." Asher says, curling up inside a ball next to her, throwing his wings over his head and falling back asleep, skull still on his head.

Her body is naturally very warm, making it quite comfortable to sleep near.
