The white uniform all the newbies were given were branded with the Furnace symbol--three circles arranged in a triangle, a dot in the middle of each and thin lines joining them. Victoria followed the line through the door to find another room, this one full of tiny cubicles.
"Get in, strip, and wash," came the booming voice behind them. Victoria picked a door, left her new uniform on a shelf outside, as well as the teddy bear, hoping nobody took it and entered. There were directions on the wall and she followed them, taking off her clothes and placing them into a chute where they vanished from sight. Shivering in the cold, she pressed a large red button in front of her and was instantly hit by a fist of freezing water. She doubled over, pressing herself against the wall to avoid the stream. But the cubicle was too small, and she had to endure it for what seemed like an eternity.
When the spray stopped, she followed the directions again and held her breath while a cloud of gas was pumped in. It stung her eyes and skin, and even after the directed thirty seconds when she took a gasping breath, the gas still flooded her lungs, making her chest feel like it was on fire.
She grabbed the uniform and the bear and put the new clothes on and staggered out the door.

Lio barely survived that. He'd brought a wrench, which he didn't rust to put in the chute, but held onto instead. Then changed into the jumpsuit and shivered his way out. "Cold...cold...I hate the cold...cold...cold..." he gasped.

Trisha stomped in,having lost the fight for her dagger,and looked angrier than ever. She stamped over to a cubical and glared in but didn't disobey....so far.She did the process,swearing due to the water and gasses and once she was done she got dressed and stamped back out,hair soaked wet so it was practically drenched a beautiful shiny night black as it sagged around her perfectly shaped waist,only shouting out more of her perfect major curves.

Flower just silently endures it. She doesnt complain or even make a sound.

Hatter goes in and does what he is told. The gas burns his lunges so much he starts coughing. As he changes he looks at his black and green cape and smiling his put it on. Heading out he joined Victoria, showing off his cape, though he didn't talk, for some strange reason.

"ack...they tryin' ta kill us with gas? It's even wors ethen th stuff my friend and I used to make." Lio coughs and shivers. "Nice cape dude." he adds. Then coughs some more.

Victoria smiled at the cape. Most of the people, as they emerged from the cubicles, were red-eyed, pale-skinned, and coughing. They looked like phantoms haunting the room where they'd died, which wasn't too far from the truth.
His malicious grin as wide as ever, the man steered everyone across the room to a set of evelator doors. He whispered something into his collar and seconds later the doors opened, revealing a machine gun on the ceiling of the elevator car which swung around to face the group.

Hatter patted Victoria's shoulder, wiping his sore eyes as he stepped forward. Staring at the door as it opened he frowned, preparing for the machine gun to fire at them. He looked down at his boots, another thing he would not part with and smiled a little more.
