"Threat detected. Requesting permission to engage."
CR-0 chirped, his red LED eyes flaring slightly brighter.
Scias swore under his breath and let go of her wrist.
"Go on ahead. You said you were good at running. So do it. You stay here, you're just going to get in the way."

She nodded her head and started running the way that Scias had been pulling her before. She mumbled to herself, "Please let Scias be okay... No, don't worry about him... He'll be fine..."

Sani ran towards her. "Where were you? I heard you over here. Who were you talking to?" Her ears perked up. Sani's blades were coated in blood and her ear was torn. She joined her running.

I was in the forest. What the heck happened to you? You should probably stop too, I can help with your ear.

In the distance, a screech and gunfire could be heard ringing out from the woods in the distance. It died down as quickly as it had started, leaving nothing but silence after a few moments.
Scias stepped out after a moment, wiping a bit of black ooze from his face. He stared at Sani cautiously, keeping his distance for the moment.
CR-0 sat on his left forearm, clicking small turrets off its wings back into its robotic body with a preening motion of its head.

Oh no...she thought. Sani, this is Scias. Scias, this is Sani. Her cheeks went red from the embarrassment hoping neither were conducting their own theories.

Hexic watched the three carefully, hiding out of sight. Getting seen would be such a pain.

It wasn't that Hexic was scared or anything, because he was not! He just hated being around people. Or aliens. Pretty much anything living. He blamed this on his home planet, who had never even tried to talk to him. He didn't blame them though.

If you knew someone who was born both blind and deaf, you might find it hard to talk to them too. Of course, Hexic came from a more magical planet, so his eyes and ears were mostly healed after a while. Then his planet had to go and get themselves blown up, those idiots. Hexic was the only survivor. And he never even got healed all the way, stupid world!

Watching the blue haired girl try to introduce the others, he tried to back away from the situation. He didn't feel like talking to anyone.
