(Hopefully things get less chaotic for you soon)

Tarin was right behind the door. Quietly he tired to push the door back a little because he had not expected it fly open quiet so hard. He just hoped by this point that Sharky was going to be a little nicer then he expected when he was caught though he highly doubted it.

The Sea otter felt the movement and peeked behind the door. Not sure of the intentions of the stowaway he stayed wary, but refrained from showing aggression. Laughing disarmingly he spoke, "Ahoy, Ye know tis alot more fun waitin' for an official tour. Ye'll get more details from the guide than on your own." He stepped back a step to allow the stranger bird to step out from behind the door.

Terrin chuckles quickly becoming serious, "Hi I noticed the maps, I hope you don't mind too much about my tresspassing I'm curious about where you came from. My name is Terrin and if you don't mind my asking by any chance could I get a closer look at the maps please? The only reason I'm asking is because I'm not from this island and somehow got here and would like to go home."

Tarka tilted his head curiously, then smiled in greeting. He could introduce himself to the newcomer later.

Sharky smiled, "Just showing a passenger about the place...as fer where I come from, well that's a bit harder. Ye see I travel around a fair bit singin' for me supper and such like. I dont really stop in any one place for long." He chuckled, "There's alot of seafarin' type who couldn't tell you where they started out from. Our homes be our vessels. Though if'n ye be lookin' fer others like yerself I might consider lettin' ye come along fer a spell as a crewmate. Sailin' is a grand way of exploring and entertainers can end up hearing more than most. We could keep our lugs cocked for any info that might help ye along the way. I'm not the type to turn away someone who could use a hand." He eyed the bird curiously, "I be Sharky Captain of this vessel. This be me singin' matey Tarka." He jerked his thumb over his shoulder. "Now what might yer own name be?"

"My name is Terrin, Captain and I'd be glad to join your crew," Terrin agrees temporarily forgetting about Kit, "Though may I talk to a pal of mine before we set off? She'd be furious and worried if I didn't tell her I was leaving?"

Sharky chuckled, "No true friend would be happy with you for leavin' unannounced. I'll string up another hammock whilst yer gone." He turned to Tarka, "I'll show ye where ye can store yer gear while I'm at it." He laughed, "Never expected to pick up some crew when I came into port, but twill be a nice change after travellin' alone for so long". Although it would mean having to be more careful he thought to himself. Still it was part of his guardian duty to help those in need, the falcon was lost, and Tak's home was likely a place he had never explored. He smiled to himself, who knew what kind of songs he might hear there.

"Thank you," Just as Terrin says that Kit appears on the dock, "Kit hi."
"You're leaving," Kit spat, "but you promised I'd get to come with you when you left to find your home."
Terrin hops back slightly afraid of what might happen, "It's not my choice."
Kit looks at Terrin, "Is your word so meaningless after all we've been though?"
Terrin looks at the ground, "Captain could we please bring Kit? She's a hard worker not mention a great climber."

Sharky looked back and forth between them for a moment before bursting out laughing, "Guess we'll be needin' another hammock then. I do have an empty room off the galley. It's a little small but it would do for one person. Its warm and more comfortable than the storage hold. How would that suit ye miss? I'm not sure how many more I could stuff into the main cabin. At least ye'd have a room of yer own."
