(Why does everybody in Undertale offer you food? Like, Sans gives you 29 or so free hotdogs and two other meals at restruants, Papyrus gives you spaghetti, Undyne and Asgore give you tea, Toriel gives pie.... Even freaking Mettaton cooks with you.)
