He gently grabs her hand, telling her to stop. "He is protecting you. There have been many signs of rouges coming to battle the kingdom, each time they come with more in numbers. He needs to know that everybody close to the palace is safe." He nods, continuing to walk after letting go of her hand.

Then he should tell me there is possible danger, not force me out of my way of life! she said. She rubbed her wrist. If he grabbed her hand again, she might bite it off.

He nods, not really liking her tone but staying quiet. They walk up to the homy cottage, small and away from the kingdom but close to the village. "Here you are miss."

Thanks she mumbled. She walked inside and slammed the door closed behind her. She set down her stuff. Shed be out of here as soon as the guard left so she didnt even bother to unpack.

He stands outside the door, being one of the guards assigned to protect her.

Rieka frowned. She realized this might be a tad harder than originally thought. She searched the house for a towel and once finding one, stuffed her things into it. She rolled it up and shoved it under her arm. She came out the door and looked at the guard then at the towel. Im going to go to the river to clean. she said. Her hope was that he was a decent person and would therefore not follow her.

He nods, snapping his fingers. A female guard rushes up from the forest, bowing and gently hooking her arm in the girls. She quickly begins striding to the river.

Never mind. I cant clean while being watched. Ill just wait till people start to trust me. she growled. She turned around and headed back to the house.

The guard sighed, grabbing her arm gently. "Go, I'll trust you but do not speak to the king of this. He would surely have my head if I left you unguarded." He calls off the female guard.

(She'll be silently watching from the treetops, not looking at her but around)

Rieka mumbled something. She couldnt take advantage of the gaurds kindness. She went to the river and quickly washed up. She dried herself with the towel, then hid the items back in it and got dressed again. I am done! she called.
