Gaia grinned. "This is Toby!" She said, pointing to her Helioptile. "Say, do you know if classes have begun yet or not? I kind of lost track of this time this morning in battle practice and I... uuh... don't really know at the moment..."

Vale jump, surprised by the sudent loudness but she calm down a bit once she figure out that this wasn't caused by one of her pokemon. By this point she was eyeing the door, almost expecting the dragon type to rush his way inside. Yuki however, was less then please by the loud group, a small amount of snow had start falling on her chair as a result of her snow warning hability.

Harold sighed with annoyance as he glanced over at Eric, rubbing his temple with his fingers. Espeon jumped up from where he was sitting and onto the podium. He gave an ice cold stare to the disrupting trainer and his Pokemon, his tail lashing impatiently.
"Es, espi, espeon! (Will you four just be quiet for once?! Rude.)" Espeon hissed before turning away and jumping off of the podium and sat near Harold's feet, his tail still lashing. Harold sighed again and cleared his throat.
"Good morning, students." Harold began, "I am Principal Johnson. Today marks the first day of school for many of you, and for others, a new year of learning and opportunity. I know that everyone here in the audience is smart, intelligent, and eager to start a new year at Pokemon Academy. Some of you want to become the best of the best, one of the strongest trainers in the land. Others may just want to learn how to care for the hundreds of thousands of Pokemon out there in this vast world. And we here at Pokemon Academy will make sure that all of you will graduate to accomplish whatever goal you want to achieve." Some students in the audience cheered and applauded. Harold gave a small grin and spoke again, "Now, please welcome to the stage, Vice Principal Medellson." He stepped down from the podium and waited for Emil to come onto the stage.

Eric and his Pokemon, once addressed, had quieted down. They cheered along with everyone else, and Greninja shot a glare at Espeon, reaching for it's Water Shuriken it always carried around threateningly. Eric leaned over and whispered, "We can't do that to his Pokemon. I'd let you if it was wild, but it's the Principle's Pokemon" Greninja sat back down, huffing in great dislike of the Pokemon who had down right insulted it. Lapras hadn't noticed, and it joined in the cheers with a loud bellow of song. Wartortle just clapped, but looked ready to burst with excitement. They were finally here! This speech set their next year here in stone, and they all silently agreed at that moment that they would always make the best of it, even if they had people like Ian as their roommates. Everyone quieted down again as the Vise-principle was announced, and waited for him to come to the podium on the stage.

Emil got up, Gallade beside him as he walked to the podium. Espeon dashed up to him, landing on his shoulder. Emil cleared his throat. "My name is Vice Principal Medellsson. I will be seeing that you all learn to care, train, and live alongside your Pokemon, or the Pokemon that you will eventually keep. Some of you, we welcome back for another term, others, we welcome you with open arms." he looked around at the students. "I am sure you all are very excited to be here, but I must remind you to look at the Student Code of Conduct that you will be given after the Welcoming Assemble. Might I remind you that your Pokemon are only allowed out at certain times of the day, and if you are caught, you will get a detention. At this school, we focus on training the Pokemon Champions, Gym Leaders, Professors, Coordinators, Breeders, Rangers, and Leaders of Tomorrow. Everyone starts small, and everyone will rise to the top. You have all been chosen for a reason, and you all are destined for greatness. This is an honour that not many are granted. I hope that you all have a fun year at the Pokemon Academy." He finished his message and walked to the side of the stage. "Anything else we missed?" Emil asked, glancing at Principal Johnson.

Eric suddenly raised his hand high into the air. His Pokemon looked at him strangely for a moment, before realizing what he wanted to ask. Eric waited patiently, not his normal usual loud self. It was a question that had troubled him since he had gotten the letter that he was attending. Waiting to be addresses, he was the only one with his hand up at the time.

Emil nodded to him. "What is your question?" he asked, frowning slightly. He saw that Harold found him a bit of an exasperating student, but Emil hadn't fully analyzed Eric, and remained intrigued by him. Gallade's eyes were intent on the Greninja, trying to calculate the Ninja Pokemon. He sensed that something was different about the Pokemon. Espeon's eyes flickered with intrigue, watching Emil.
