The force was enough to wake him, the pain of the impact knocking the breath out of him. He hadn't had time to recover before the dragon like woman pick him up and threw him into the building. Again he ended up winded and lay gasping for breath on the stairs before she returned for him. "Let...go..of...me!" He panted struggling to get free. What was he problem!

She gasped out. Her legs were on fire, and her hair was damp with sweat. She couldnt go on for much longer.

"Ah!" What the hell was going on?! There was so much happening that he wasn't rightly sure anymore. As the girl pulled him along he followed, keeping pace with her as best he could. When he turned to look back though he tripped, sending them both head over heels into a concrete gulley made for getting rid of flood water. Pain again shot through his body, this time from the scrapes and bruises he had gotten in the fall. "What the hell!" He screamed struggling to stand.

Agh!
She shouted, in pain.
Lemme tell it to ya short and sweet. That cat lady thing, is mad at me And is trying to kill us. So if you dont want to die, RUN.
She said exasperatedly
She tried to stand up, but the exaustion was too much. She laid back down to try and catch her breath, but it wasnt working.
If you dont want to be more scraped up than you are then go on ahead... Ill come in a few minutes. Or, you could stay here... you sure didnt seem to like me hauling your******away from being slashed to pieces. Typical, prideful god...

"Stop calling me that!" Levi barked through gritted teeth. He stood and strode over to her before picking her up and putting her over his shoulder. He may not have been able to fly but he could run, even if the gulley only led in two directions. Lucky though that it led into the sewers where all the water would come from in a flood. That would give them a bit of a place to hide.

Still panting, Crystal lifted her sleeves and scratched at the bandages. They slipped off, and she scratched at the healing scars. Crystal felt limp and weak, and passed out before she could hide the writing.

He didn't stop until he knew they were safe. Panting he found a nice dry place to set the girl down before setting down to rest himself. That was exhausting.... Before he really even hit the ground he was fast asleep.

*fast forward to next morning*
Crystals eyes shot open.
What. Happened.
She muttered.
She sat up sharply, and looked around.
The stress was too much for her, so she looked for a high place to perch. It was a slab of concrete near the tunnel roof, that she chose to sit in. She then grabbed her pack of cigarettes, and took one out. She lighted it and took in a deep breath. Smoke curled gently around her mouth. She was back to normal now, her eyes half open, looking like she is done with your ******.
