When she got to the pool she roared at every dragon "STAY CLEAR OF THE AREA RIGHT NOW!!" all of the dragons flew out of her way as she landed. She then spotted the viper curled up on a rock, basking in the sunlight. She growled and stalked towards it, her talons extended and her eyes focused.

Shift looked out the door again in the direction of the pool. There was a lot of yelling. He decided to go and look, so he flew out toward the pool.

once he was there, he saw Sandstorm facing the viper, her claws extended. He could hear the other dragons's minds shrieking in terror of the viper.

The viper did not seem to notice her as she crept up behind it. She hissed "this viper is as good as dead" she launched her self at it. Every dragon seemed to hold their breath. One of her claws hooked into the back of the viper's head and the other talon grabbed it's tail. The viper started to thrash wildly, letting out furious hissing noises. She then flipped it on its back and stabbed it with her barbed tail, right behind the head. It fell limp, dead, she then picked up the dead body.

Shift gasped as Sandstorm leaped at the viper, worried that she might get bitten, but she hooked it, flipped it over and stabbed it on the back of it's head. It fell limp, dead, and Shift sighed in relief

She noticed Shift and smiled at him, giving him a small wave she started to walk off with the other guards who were there.

Shift waved back. All the other dragons's minds were buzzing with respect and awe and gratitude for Sandstorm for killing the snake. It was really disorienting, but Shift managed to shout out to her. "Nice! Great job!"

(Just a question, that are we allowed to get the jade mountain academy related into this roleplay?)

Sandstorm turned when she heard Shift *he.....he thanked me?* she had a surprised expression on her face, she quickly turned away from the other dragons because she started to let out tears of joy *no body is yelling at me for once, and Shift... He actually thanked me* she then wiped away her tears and turned back to him and whispered "thank you..." Before flying off.

Shift smiled at her as she flew off, though still wondered why she was surprised. he thought back to their second conversation and the images he saw in her mind, and decided that she wasnt getting enough gratitude in her life. Thats kinda sad he thought as he flew back home

It was her turn to feed the dragonets who came to get a free meal, so she landed at a large table filled to the brim with delicious food. The dragonets started pouring in towards the food. She smiled at each and every one of them, and in their eyes she saw her sisters smiling face staring back at her. One dragonet saw her star scaled wings. "Your wings are really pretty." Said the dragonet. Sandstorm chuckled "why thank you young one."

After she was done, she flew back to her den and landed on the roof.
