Appearance: His hair is black with brown tips, eyes are greenish-hazel. Not tall but not short. Usual attire includes an oversized hoodie and black ripped jeans. Has a resting face that screams murder.

Personality: River, despite being able to control emotions, has a hard time conveying his own. He tends to come off as cold at first, but once you crack his shell he's actually a really sweet and caring guy.
History: Was raised in an area riddled with crime and murder. His parents were killed about a year before he discovered his powers. As an orphan, he went through a deep depression but once he turned 14 his world turned around. At first he used his powers to cope with his depression, but he doesn't need to anymore.

Emotion controllers:

a) can sense others' emotions
b) can tamper with/control others' emotions, either negatively or positively (eg. Sending someone into a state of depression vs. making someone feel at peace)
c) can share an emotion with someone in the room anonymously, or not if they prefer (like letting them know how they feel without saying it)
