You arrive at the village and burst through the gates. The peddler stops in front of a large temple that looks like it could collapse at any second. "This is all I'll do. Go die in peace, lady." He rides off to the west, leaving you wounded in front of the temple.

She got up and stepped into, looking around.

(Sorry for the hiatus! I hate school!)

You look around and see the temple in ruins, rubble everywhere.

She tried to go to the part where the shrine would be.

(The ruins is the shrine)

You crawl towards the center of the shrine, noticing a large sun in the middle. As you reach the tile decor embedded in the floor, the "sun" began to shine a bright white light. The temple began to reassemble itself, and bits and pieces of rubble and dust began to defy gravity as they rose up and reverted to their original form. The temple now began to be filled with light and darkness, intermingling with each other. Your stump of an arm began to shoot even more pain up your shoulder, and bones began to form out of thin air. They float around where your arm was and locked into place when they reached their rightful places. The temple was now good as new, and your new right arm was skeletal.

The last thing you remember is talking to a large, glowing being. You remember its words, "You have been resurrected by the will of the gods, yet you may not keep your memories or stay in this world. Begone, and live your new life!"

You wake up and see that you are surrounded by endless golden plains scattered with flowers and tall red trees. You look up at the beautiful blue sky and feel the warmth of the radiant yellow sun shine upon you. Your encounter with the being didn't seem like a dream, yet it seemed so surreal. Confused about your surroundings, you look around.

You look north and see a gravel road in the distance, to the south and see more plains, to the east and see a purple mountain, and to the west and see a crimson forest. What do you do?

(I meant the middl-e bit of the shrine. Where the stuff is actually done.)

She winced, but didn't cry out and just held her new arm, keeping it floppy, looking up at the roof before realizing with a dry mouth she should probably keep her head down in respect and thanks before proceeding to do so.

I ponder the words as I walk towards the gravel path

The temple began to glow a bright white once more, and this time, the Goddess actually appeared. She rubbed the back of her head, smiling like a child. "Sorry about your arm. There's a reason that I'm the Goddess of Death, not Life."
